Disaster Lineage is the friendship between Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano from the Star Wars fandom.

The Clone Wars[]
Obi-Wan and Anakin are waiting for reinforcements, when a ship arrives. Obi-Wan assumes that they'll have his new padawan onboard and Anakin asks if he really thinks that bringing a learner into the war is such a good idea. Obi-Wan says that it's a privalage and suggests that Anakin request one, but Anakin says that a padawan would only slow him down. The ship opens, and a togruta girl steps out, Obi-Wan surprised that a youngling was sent. Anakin asks who she's supposed to be, and she introduces herself as Ahsoka. Yoda having sent her to deliver the message that they're needed at the temple as soon as possible. Obi-Wan says that they're communications have been down, and Anakin is annoyed that they don't even know they need help. Ahsoka suggests relaying a signal through the ship that just dropper her off, and they do so.
After they get the communication sent, Obi-Wan decides to properly introduce himself to Ahsoka as her new Master. Ahsoka says that she's actually been assigned to Anakin, but Anakin says that there must be some mistake. Ahsoka says that Yoda was very specific, which Anakin starts to protest before Obi-Wan interrupts. He says they'll sort it out later, and Anakin says he'll go check in with Rex. Obi-Wan tells him to take Ahsoka with him, much to Anakin's annoyance.
Anakin and Ahsoka return to see Yoda there alongside Obi-Wan, who explained the situation with Ahsoka. Yoda starts to suggest that Ahsoka be trained by Obi-Wan instead but Anakin stops him, and says that she may be rough around the edges, but she can amount to something with his training. Yoda then tells him that he and Ahsoka need to search for Jabba the Hut's son, much to Anakin's displeasure. Ahsoka says it doesn't sound so bad and goes to collect Rex. Obi-Wan tells Anakin to just teach her everything he taught him, and Anakin can't help but think this was Obi-Wan's plan all along.

The term Disaster Lineage comes from Obi-Wan's teaching being passed down to Anakin who passes them onto Ahsoka. Thus making them a lineage of disaster teachings. On AO3, Disaster Lineage is the fifth most written ship for Ahsoka, the sixth most written for Anakin and the ninth most written for Obi-Wan. There are currently 1600+ written works.
