Disaster Trio is the friendship between Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex from the Star Wars fandom.
Canon[]
The Clone Wars[]
Anakin goes to check in with Rex as Ahsoka follows. Anakin asks Rex for a report and he says the droids are gearing up for another attack. He notices Ahsoka and asks who she is, and she says she's Anakin's new padawan. Rex is confused, as Anakin had said he'd never have a padawan, but Anakin says that there's been a mix up and that she's not with him. She says that he's stuck with her, calling his "Skyguy", which makes Rex chuckle. Anakin becomes frustrated and tells her not to get snippy with him, and says that she's probably not even old enough to be a padawan. Ahsoka says that she might not be, but Master Yoda thinks she's ready. Anakin says that if she is ready she better start proving it, and that Rex is going to show her how respect goes along way. Rex is confused, but goes along with it, taking Ahsoka around the battlefield.
R3-S6[]
DOWNFALL OF A DROID
Anakin wakes up in a hospital bed, seeing Rex and Ahsoka there. He asks what happened and Ahsoka says that he owes Rex his life. Rex says that he was just doing his job and that it was Anakin's plan that won the day. Ahsoka gives an update on the battle and Anakin says that they both did good work. He asks where R2 is, and Ahsoka is sorry to admit he's gone.
Return to Geonosis[]
Anakin asks Rex if Obi-Wan can send reinforcements, but Cody told Rex that it won't be coming. Anakin complains that the one time he needs Obi-Wan he's not there, but Ahsoka says that Obi-Wan may be hurt. Anakin says that now isn't the time for that talk, and tells Rex to get the men together so they can rush the guns. Rex goes to do so, and then he tells Ahsoka to stick with her so they can give Rex cover during the attack.
As Ahsoka and Anakin are fighting off destroyers, Rex comes behind and destroys one while Anakin destroys the other. A battle droid then opens a hatch and he and Ahsoka throw the explosives inside. Ahsoka and Anakin then use the force to get Rex off the top of the wall before jumping off themselves. They get down, and Rex tells them that next time they can just tell him to jump. Anakin asks where the fun would be in that, before leading them all to catch up to Obi-Wan.

Disaster Trio is one of the more well loved dynamics to come out of clone wars. Many fans often see Rex as the only sane one between the three, having to deal with the two of them as well as Obi-Wan. Though between the four, Cody typically ends up being the only sane one. Although some portray Obi-Wan being very tired of the three of them, and the voice of reason to them. On AO3, Disaster Trio is the tenth most written gen ship for Ahsoka. There are currently 180+ written works.
