Docsu is the slash ship between Byeong-gi and Jang Deok-su from the Squid Game fandom.

Canon

The two met each other during the killing game and interact for the first time before lights go out. While Byeong-gi was operating on a player, the soldiers adviced him to team up with the strongest players as they tell him what the next game is going to be. After he gets back in the dorms, he decides to find a group which will be able to protect him.

Right before lights go out, with 5 minutes on the clock, he sees Deok-su with his bunch and decides to get with them. At first, they are reluctant on the idea of Byeong-gi joining their squad due to their assumption that he's weak. However, Byeong-gi tells Deok-su he knows what the next game is going to be and that seems to changes his mind. Byeong-gi is accepted and is later protected by them during the fight while the lights went out. After the fight during lights out, Byeong-gi is seen stitching up Deok-su's injury.

Deok-su excluded Mi-nyeo from his squid after learning from Byeong-gi that the next game is Tug of War. The two are seen together form a strong group for the upcoming game. Byeong-gi's knowledge of what the game was going to be resulted in being helpful, as they managed to easily win and proceed to the next game.

Before Marbles, Byeong-gi's corpse was hung up as to show players to not break the rules of the games. Deok-su is seen to be distraught by this while players are walking up the stairs to the next game.

Fanon

Docsu is a rarepair in the Squid Game fandom. This is because it's between two side characters, with Deok-su being heavily disliked in the fandom while Byeong-gi isn't the most popular character either. Despite this, most shippers enjoy their interactions and the supposed friendly dynamic that the show got between the two. Most fanworks like to imagine how Deok-su would open up to Byeong-gi as he's a character with a heavy personality, thus fans like to imagine how different he would be if he had someone like the doctor.

One of the biggest appeals to this ship is Deok-su never questioning Byeong-gi after he was accepted into his gang. Most fans like to think that had they met outside the games they could've had some sort of friendship, even with their constrasting backgrounds, as Deok-su was a gangster while Byeong-gi was a doctor. Though, the two being polar opposites to each other, making the ship fall under the Opposites Attract trope, is also why the two are shipped and is an another big appeal to it.

A lot of fans also like to point out that Deok-su reacted to Byeong-gi's death with an expression of pity on his face. This is pointed to be one of, if not the only time that Deok-su actually shows compassion during the games. Deok-su is also known to be one of the most violent characters in the show and he was shown to be someone that would do whatever it takes to get to his goal. Because of this, a lot of people like to believe that he geniunely liked Byeong-gi, as if he had a soft spot for him.

This ship is rivaled by NyeoSu. Sometimes all three characters are put into a love triangle due to their conflicts in the show.
