Dogamyressa is the het ship between Dogamy and Dogaressa from the Undertale fandom.

Canon

Long before the events of the main game, Dogamy and Dogaressa placed second in the Nose Nuzzle Championship '98, placing only behind Asgore and Toriel. Some time later, the two joined the Canine Unit of the Royal Guard. A sign says there is dog marriage right before you meet them. Dogamy and Dogaressa kissed and it showed a heart.

If Frisk plans on sparing the dogs, they roll in the ground and trick the couple into thinking they're a lost puppy. They then pet both of them, leaving them to think that dogs can pet other dogs. Afterwards, if they are spared, the two can be seen beside each other at Grillby's.

It is impossible to spare exactly one of them. If Dogaressa is killed first, Dogamy's attacks become weaker as he feels sadness over his wife's death. If Dogamy is killed first, Dogaressa's attacks get stronger, as she gets angry and tries to avenge her husband.

In the True Pacifist ending, the two reunite with their long-gone parents. All four of them, along with other dogs, have merged into an Amalgamate called Endogeny. Dogamy and Dogaressa wonder whether this merge means the two are siblings now. But end up dismissing sibling marriage as something dogs often do regardless. In the credits, it is said they are "finally" number one Nose Nuzzle Champions, as the previous winners (Toriel and Asgore) are unable to participate due to their divorce.

Fanon

Most fans ship Dogamy and Dogaressa due to them always appearing together and undoubtedly being in love with each other. It does not have any notable rival ships. On AO3, it is the most written ship for both characters, and in stories, the two appear most commonly along with each other and Sans. It currently has over 60 works written. The ship is not, however, a mainstream ship due to Dogamy and Dogaressa not being very major characters.

• Dogamy and Dogaressa always appear together in-game.
• Both characters' names are somehow marriage related. Dogaressa is a term used to refer to the wife of a doge, a ruler in Reneissance-era Republic of Venice. Dogamy's name is based on the suffix -gamy, which is used for marriage terms (such as monogamy).
• If the player uses cheats to kill one of the Dogi and spare the other, the game treats it as having both killed.
