Doki is the het ship between Dōma and Daki/Ume from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Canon[]
Dōma and Daki first met long before the story began. They met on the night where Ume was burned alive as punishement. Dōma came across Gyutaro holding Ume in his arms, while she was barely alive. He acknowledged that Ume was going to die soon and offered the two a chance to become demons. Dōma tells them to get stronger and become part of the Twelve Kizuki, as a challenge.
Eventually, Daki rose to the upper ranks with her brother. Dōma was Upper Rank 2 by then, while Daki was Upper Rank 6, which was ironically Dōma's rank when they first met.
Following Daki and Gyutaro's death, an upper rank meeting was called. Muzan announced this after all the upper ranks arrived, to which Dōma went on to apologize, since he apparently feels responsible for their failure due to him being the one to introduce them to the Twelve Kizuki.
Despite Daki and Dōma's limited interactions, they both share a few similarities. Both Daki and Dōma kill those who are underneath them when they're in a location where the two are disguised among humans. Dōma is a leader of a cult and he eats his followers, while Daki is an oiran and consumes those under her who she deems pretty, and kills the ones she deems ugly.
Fanon[]
Doki is a somewhat unpopular pairing, as the two don't share many interactions. Some fans do think they could have interacted offscreen in upper rank meetings. It is rather unknown what kind of terms they are on, but fans do think there is a mutual respect between them, with Daki possibly admiring Doma. Fans who are in favor of the ship generally believe that both characters are attractive and have a good chemistry together. The two demons are both well known for their antagonistic dynamic.
Fan fictions usually include modern AU’s, where the two meet as normal humans and would eventually become a couple. An AU of the two falling in love in the canon universe as demons is also often written in fan fictions.
The ship is however more preferred as a friendship, due to no evidence that Doma and Daki actually like each other romantically. The idea of Doma being a father figure to Daki and Gyutaro is very loved by the fandom.
