DonDaisy Family is the family ship between Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, May Duck, and June Duck from the DuckTales fandom.
Canon[]
In “The Last Adventure!”, it is revealed that Donald and Daisy intend to take a trip around the world together. Shortly thereafter, Donald’s family and their allies discover May and June during a raid on F.O.W.L. Headquarters. When the two girls introduce themselves to Donald, he appears to take an immediate shine to them and introduces himself in return. Later, after hearing that the two are among several missing persons, Donald agrees to join a rescue mission.
During the final confrontation with F.O.W.L., May and June would come to Donald’s side to help him hold up a barrier protecting his Uncle Scrooge McDuck. The three would later stand together during the end of the conflict and resulting celebration. Afterwards, as the trio and others traveled back to Duckburg, Donald would throw his arm around a dispirited May and June. Calling Daisy on his phone, he asked whether she would mind “a couple of stowaways?”
Daisy’s reaction to Donald’s request is not recorded. Shortly thereafter, when the plane cargo door was accidentally opened, Donald and the girls clung to each other as they were sucked out. They became separated, but fortunately all three are rescued by various friends.
Fanon[]
Fans of Daisy and Donald like to imagine their life after the finale of DuckTales, with them setting off on their trip around the world. Many also headcanon that Daisy and Donald would officially adopt May and June at some point, as the girls lack the close connection to Scrooge-their genetic parent-that Webby does. It would also doubtless be a benefit to Donald, who has had a diminished role in the lives of his nephews since their great-uncle and especially their mother came into their lives. Daisy’s response to the drastic sudden change in her living situation can only be guessed. But the general fan assumption is that she would accept the girls much as she has apparently accepted various other surprises accompanying her relationship with Donald.
There are some fans that dislike this idea as they view it as Donald replacing his relationship with the boys with his new relationship with Daisy and the girls. But many others believe that Daisy and Donald have enough room in their hearts for both sets of kids. In the case of May and June, it seems a general belief that there would be some adjustment to this new living situation. Generally, however, the belief seems to be that the unlikely family of four would become a close-knit, loving group.
