Doropetra is the femslash ship between Dorothea and Petra from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Petra and Dorothea are both students the Garreg Mach Monastery's Officers Academy and members of the Black Eagles house. Dorothea often helps explain phrases that Petra does not understand due to not being a native speaker of Fódlan's language.
In their support conversations Dorothea comes to check on Petra to see if she is settling into life at the academy. Dorothea worries that Petra might be feeling homesick and offers cook her a meal from Brigid, though Petra notes that it is impossible because they don't have the same ingredients found in Brigid, and more importantly, Dorothea's cooking it terrible. Despite this she thanks Dorothea for thinking of her and says to herself that Dorothea is "filling my heart full..."
Later Petra asks Dorothea why she came to the Officers Academy. After Dorothea tells her of her plans to marry a noble so that she can have a more secure future than what her current commoner status offers. Petra worries that marrying for money isn't a good idea to which Dorothea sadly agrees as she's not fond of nobility she's tried to date so far. Petra and Dorothea decide they should become better friends as they both will irritate the imperial nobility in doing so.
During the War Phase Dorothea asks about the braids in Petra's hair, which Petra explains is a tradition passed down in her family. After looking at them, Dorothea asks if Petra would teach her the braid so that they could match hairstyle and so Dorothea could braid Petra hairs herself. Petra is touched, and confesses that her first impression of Dorothea was that she was being overly familiar but she came to understands that it was simply how Dorothea shows she cares. Petra tells Dorothea that she is precious to her and cannot imagine life without her. Dorothea admits that spending time with Petra makes her forget about her worries of marriage and status, prompting Petra to asks if she will come to Brigid with her after the war, to which Dorothea happily accepts the invitation.
In their paired ending, Petra becomes the queen of Brigid and Dorothea stays with her side throughout, even going so far as to reluctantly work with the Fódlan nobility for Petra's sake. While the people of Brigid were skeptical of Dorothea at first, they warmed up to her over time, and it is said Dorothea "became the person whom Petra loved the most".
If Dorothea and Petra were not recruited by Byleth in other routes then they will continue to support Edelgard and together will be the last line of defense in Enbarr.

Fanon[]
Doropetra is a popular ship within the Three Houses fandom. Many began shipping them after seeing their paired ending and they are often referred to as the Queens of Brigid. Some see the pairing as a natural conclusion to Dorothea's pursuit of a stable future through marriage to a noble as Petra is a queen, about as noble as they come, and most importantly Dorothea and Petra truly care for each other, unlike Dorothea's past noble suitors.
They are often shipped alongside the other popular Black Eagle ships such as Edeleth, Ferdibert and Casphardt. With Edeleth they are frequently paralleled as royal couples and a common theme in fanworks is having Edelgard and Byleth visit Brigid, either in an official capacity or as a less formal holiday/honeymoon setting. On AO3 it is the most written for ship for both Petra and Dorothea.
