Dorzma is the femslash ship between Dorothy Gale and Princess Ozma from the The Wizard of Oz fandom.
Canon[]
The Marvelous Land of Oz[]
Though Dorothy does not appear in person in this book, her heroic deeds in the previous book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz are practically treated as historical events, even in the Gillikin Country (a country Dorothy did not visit), home to a boy named Tip. Tip would later turn out to be Ozma under a spell to be disguised as a boy so that the rightful ruler of the kingdom couldn't be found easily.
Ozma of Oz[]
At the beginning of the book, Dorothy gets lost in a shipwreck and finds herself in Oz's neighboring country, the Land of Ev. There, she meets a copper robot named Tik-tok, who had heard of what happened in Oz while Dorothy was absent, despite being unable to move, think or talk for a long time. When Tik-tok fills Dorothy in about Oz now being ruled by its rightful ruler, Princess Ozma, she is confused as she expected her friend the Scarecrow to still be ruler, but she admits that she would like to know who Ozma is.
It just so happens that when Dorothy is held prisoner by the vain Princess Langwidere, the only remaining ruler of Ev, that Ozma decides to pay the country a visit with her entire entourage to restore peace in the neighboring country. When Dorothy calls out to her friends to save her from her prison's window, Ozma overhears Dorothy's plight and is immediately sympathetic that she wouldn't want to exchange her head with one of Langwidere's, promising to save her. Dorothy is ensured that she will like Ozma a whole lot.
Ozma negotiates with Langwidere that she would set Dorothy free if Ozma and her friends would help rescue the royal family of Ev, Langwidere's aunt and ten cousins who had been enchanted and locked away by the Nome King. Langwidere accepts, finding ruling a country to be needless chore and frees Dorothy at once. After being led into the castle's hall by Ozma's hand, Dorothy greets all of her friends warmly and is happy to see them again. However, she's also fascinated to hear Ozma's life story, being cursed to become a boy and be living in hiding from her true purpose. The two of them and all of their mutual friends then band together to overthrow the Nome King and take his precious ornaments that used to be people. When Dorothy's hen friend Billina manages to trick the Nome King into releasing all of his prisoners and stealing his magic belt so that he wouldn't make any more, Dorothy and Ozma attend the celebration of the return of the Royal Family in the Land of Ev, along with the coronation of its new king. The celebrations are moved to the Land of Oz, where Dorothy is declared an honorary princess by Ozma. Dorothy however is dreadfully worried about her Uncle Henry, who had travelled to Australia alone and believing she had died on her way. So the two friends agree that Ozma should always look for Dorothy with her enchanted picture the same time every day, if Dorothy shows a sign that she misses Oz or is in trouble, Ozma would summon her with the magic belt. They share a kiss as goodbye as Ozma sends Dorothy to take care of her uncle.
Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz[]
When Dorothy, her second cousin Zeb and the Wizard are trapped beneath the surface of the Earth, having seen all sorts of strange countries underground and survived all sorts of hardships, Dorothy remembers the deal she had made with Ozma and realizes that its going to be time for Ozma to look for Dorothy soon. So Dorothy clarifies how trapped they are and soon vanishes from the scene. Her companions are all also vanished from the scene, finding themselves in the Emerald City upon Dorothy's request. A huge celebration is held at the return of Dorothy and the Wizard, with Dorothy spending her time preparing for the celebration with Ozma in her room. Ozma reveals that she had given Dorothy her own room in the Emerald Castle, but is still content to sent her home to her family, who believe she had died from falling into a chasm during an earthquake.

The Emerald City of Oz[]
By the sixth book, The Emerald City of Oz, Ozma arranges, at Dorothy's request, for her family to move into the palace, and Ozma declares her an official princess of Oz and her "constant companion". In The Lost Princess of Oz the first page mentions that Ozma loves Dorothy very much and by page two says that Dorothy is the only one privileged to enter Ozma's rooms without an invitation. In turn, Dorothy often represents Ozma when some task takes the latter away from the Emerald City.
Fanon[]
The exact origin of the Dorzma ship is unknown, but it's believed to have been the illustration from The Road to Oz of Dorothy kissing Ozma along with the fact that Ozma was raised as the boy Tip by Mombi. Since then, Dorzma has become the most popular ship among fans of the original Oz Books. Many fan works based on this ship deal with the possibility of Dorothy and Ozma being more than friends which was stemmed from "Values Dissonance." As kissing and hugging between two people of the same sex was quite common during the early 20th century, usually as a friendly, non-sexual gesture, but due to the advent of the LGBTQ+ Community, these gestures became obsolete and more associated with sexual attraction. Aside from dealing with her relationship with Dorothy, many Dorzma fanfics also deal with the topic of Ozma's gender identity, an example would be The Gender Ninja of Oz by ErinPtah and the unofficial Oz books by March Laumer.
On AO3, Dorzma is the most written ship for Ozma and the second most written for Dorothy. It is also the second most written ship in the Wizard of Oz tag. There are currently 80+ written works.
