DouGyuDaki is the friendship between Doma, Daki and Gyutaro from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Canon[]
Doma, Gyutaro and Daki first met prior to the beginning of the story. The three of them meet when Gyutaro is carrying his sister while walking around calling out for help. Right after this Gyutaro and Daki fall and are approached by Doma. Doma calls them poor things. Gyutaro calls out to Doma to help him and his sister. Doma to this offers them to become demons. Gyutaro accepts this, thus turning him and Ume into demons. Doma during this also challenges them to become strong enough to become an upper rank.
During an upper rank meeting that was called after the entertainment district arc. Muzan mentions Gyutaro's death and the death of Daki. To this Doma immediately apologizes to Muzan. Doma says that he feels at fault for their failure, due to him being the one to have introduced the two of them to the Twelve Kizuki.
Fanon[]
DouGyuDaki is a somewhat well-known pairing in the fandom. This is since Doma was the one to turn the siblings into demons. Fans also tend to believe that the three of them could have interacted with each other as demons prior to when the story starts. With this people think that Doma, Daki and Gyutaro could maybe have been friends.
Some fans have created a swap AU, where Doma would also help the siblings like he did in the main universe. In which Doma would go on to take care of Daki and Gyutaro. Some portray it as Doma adopting Gyutaro and Daki, while others portray the three as just good friends. Also in most of these types of AU’s all are part of the Demon Slayer Corps.
