DoubleFedora is the non-binary ship between Chance and Mafioso from the Forsaken and Frozen Soul fandoms.
Canon[]
Mafioso is a skin that turns c00lkidd into a mafia member from the game, Frozen Soul which is suppose to be a generalized character of the Mafia NPCs from the game. This makes him a killer tasked to kill the survivors before the timer runs out, this includes Chance.
However, it has been confirmed that the upcoming redesign of Mafioso will be canon and will play a part in Chance's new lore.

DoubleFedora is one of the most popular ships in the Forsaken fandom. This might be because shippers found it to be attractive since both Chance and Mafioso wear a suit, with the latter also wearing a black fedora. Mafioso had a completely black body before the redesign gave him the suit but even then fans usually did drew Mafioso wearing a suit or a sweater vest with a suit jacket, gathering an aesthetic appeal to fans. This was also tied with the fact that Mafioso is a mafia member that collects people's debts and since Chance is a gambler, scenarios depicting Mafioso and his goons going after Chance for his debt and for whatever reason content goes for it has Mafioso becoming interested and/or intrigued by Chance. While others often have Chance try to woo Mafioso only for it to go pathetically wrong yet still somehow does the job whether that is shown by Mafioso's demeanor or not. Overall, many find the ship to be appealing by design. Another factor to the ship's popularity could be that Chance is a fan favorite in the community so it wouldn't be surprising many would latch onto a ship with much visual appeal.
Usually content like that features Mafioso as the boss with his goons even going as far to depict him as the boss in their entire group not knowing that Eunoia actually is the mafia boss, this was further fueled when the Mafioso skin got a redesign to distance him from the Frozen Soul game. Along with that, his goons often do make an appearance in the ship as well what with their affiliation with each other. AU's that place a further focus on the mafia is also prominent in DoubleFedora fanfics and fanart, some even have it where Chance is Mafioso's right hand man, a bystander, one of their "victims" or even as an mafia "wife".
They also have something in common, bunnies. One of Mafioso's attacks is a small bunny while canonically Chance has a pet bunny that is really big. Fans often like to draw the two together with their pets, while showing Mafioso's "soft" side when it comes to bunnies.
What with the contrasting designs and dynamic at play, the ship is commonly played with tension, a bit of power play and spice.
The ship has been marginalized in the fandom because when the Frozen Soul (Dream Game) collab skins were announced and removed by the creator's request. This resulted in some to target the shippers by making it seem like the ship itself was also one of the reasons or even the main cause for the collab's removal and Mafioso's redesign. Even though the actual reason why was just because of the wave of mischaracterization and R34 of their characters, many bring up that said mischaracterization is common to be found from the ship, like in here for example. Said shippers comment how that form of mischaracterization for Mafioso makes him look like a sex offender at times. Fans against this depiction of Mafioso comment how while in DG his personality isn’t really emphasized for him and his character is up to interpretation, there is still better ways rather than his only trait being an Italian person who's "freaky for Chance 24/7". Some like to image and depict him as stoic, cold, unforgiving if you fuck up but towards his own mafia he treats them like family and etc which this characterization can also be found in DoubleFedora content. Along with the fact that most R34 of Mafioso comes from this ship.
The pairing has over 110+ fics on AO3. It is the second most popular ship for Chance while it is the most popular for Mafioso. It often rivals with Paycheck on Chance's side and to a lesser extent PizzaDebt or ShopDebth on Mafioso's side.
