Duel Uzis is the cargo ship between Uzi Doorman and Uzi submachine guns from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Uzi is never seen using an Uzi gun in Canon, instead using her handcrafted signature railgun. However, this didn't stop official author, Liam Vickers, from making joke content of his own. In a small card that features the announcement of Murder Drones, Liam drew a chibi, doodled Uzi with an Uzi gun. Uzi notably has a passion and or knack for constructing weapons. It's, however, unclear if she had created more machinery other than her railgun.
Fanon[]
Uzi's name has been a consistent debate since the release of the Pilot. Fans were wondering where the inspiration behind her name came from and if it was actually taken from the submachine gun. Their question wasn't answered until later on in which Liam confirmed their suspicions. Since then, and even before, thousands of fanarts featuring Uzi handling an Uzi gun became a popular meme and inside joke within the community. Some comically post the image of the small drone bearing the weapon into meme formats.
Artworks displaying the cargo ship include the common title "Uzi with an Uzi". Though not necessarily an Uzi gun, Glitch Productions posted an image of a plush Uzi holding a pistol. This could be a reference to the Duel Uzis ship. The ship has a much larger following on social media app, Reddit. Some may compare Uzi to the existing famous American rapper, Lil' Uzi Vert. The "Lil'" is emphasized to point out her unusually small height. The fact that both are named after the weapon contributes to the ship.
There currently isn't any explanation to why Uzi was named this from Liam. Uzi guns are one of the smaller weaponry in comparison to their counterparts. This could be a jab to Uzi's height. However, the gun isn't the smallest machinery out there, for there are many others that are much smaller.
