Dventi is the friendship between Dvalin and Venti from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
In Venti's Character Teaser; Venti: The Four Winds, the video seemed all about Venti finding someone to implore to. However, the only one that he was able to implore to was his first friend, Dvalin. When the screen faded away, Dvalin tells Venti to do some real work. Then, he proceeds to call him Barbatos as Venti was Barbatos, the God of Freedom.
Archon Quest[]
In the Prologue; Act 1, when going through the forest, the Traveler sees Venti and Dvalin. Venti told Dvalin to not worry as it's alright now since he's back. The Traveler's powers started glowing and made a sound, which made Dvalin scared and fly away while Venti disappeared.
In the Prologue; Act 2, after talking to Jean and Lisa to discuss about the teardrop crystal, the Traveler and Paimon then tried to find the green fellow who they met in the forest which was of course Venti. When the Traveler finally finds him, Venti was playing a lyre and started telling a story about the Anemo Archon and Dvalin. After the story, Venti realizes that he knew who the Traveler and Paimon since they scared Dvalin. When Paimon asks Venti if they're meant to be close, into which. Venti answered with "Oh, so close...". The Traveler showed him a teardrop crystal, Venti told him that the anguish that Dvalin felt has brought him to tears, telling that he was once such a gentle child and now so full of rage and suffering. Venti then tells the Traveler, even if Dvalin is not taken down, his life would still wither away in the breeze, he'll burn himself out in the flames of anger.
At the end of Act 2, Venti started playing the lyre to bring Dvalin back except, an abyss mage seemed to made Dvalin corrupted and having to tell him that he left him rotting alone, Venti tried to tell him that it wasn't like that but yet, failed so.

Fanon[]
Dventi is a semi-popular friendship among the Genshin Impact fandom. It's not normally shipped as a slash pairing, but when it is, it's always overshadowed by XiaoVen. It's also overshadowed by Venti's other ships like ZhongVen and Venther. However, it's not overshadowed by any of Dvalin's ships, as Dvalin doesn't have many ships. There are also some troll in the fandom, saying that Dvalin x Venti is the best ship though it's always controversial when treated as a slash. It's usually always a joke for the ones who say that. There are currently 38+ gen works of Dvalin and Venti on AO3.
