EarthBound is a video game series.
Plot[]
MOTHER, localized as EarthBound Beginnings, is the first game in the series. The protagonist Ninten sets out to collect the 8 parts of a song in order to save the Earth from aliens, with PSI and other friends journeying with him to help.
MOTHER 2, more well known as the localized name EarthBound, follows Ness, one of the chosen four children stop Giygas, the same alien from the first game, from taking over the Earth. Along his journey he meets the other three friends and visits his Sanctuary locations to gain their power.
In MOTHER 3, the Nowhere Islands are invaded by the Pigmask Army, resulting in drastic changes to its environment and creatures. Lucas discovers more about the Army while becoming friends with Kumatora and Duster. Eventually Lucas must pull the Needles located across the Nowhere Islands before the Pigmask Army does in order to prevent the Dark Dragon from being awakened for evil.
