Edanter is the friendship between Eda Clawthorne and Hunter from the The Owl House fandom.

In "Separate Tides", Hunter and Eda meet in an island where the Selkidomus lives. Eda attempted to hit the golden guard with her arm but he easily overpowered her, dodging every hit. Hunter threatened Luz and Eda with dangling over the hot sea. He makes a deal with Eda and Luz, they have to kill the Selkidomus or King will die. Eda and Luz made a fake Selkidomus in order to trick Hunter.
In "Eclipse Lake", the two met again when Hunter attempted to obtain Titan's blood. However, he gets caught by Eda, Luz and Amity because Eda recognized his voice. Hunter tried to warn Eda how the cave is made of the titan's veins and that it isn't a normal cave, however, Eda doesn't seem to pay attention. Hunter continues to have low expectations for Eda and King. Eda mentions that Luz told her she met Hunter in Latissa and how she describes him as a "bad but sad boy", Hunter is embarrassed by this and calls Eda delusional for thinking she can turn into a harpy.
In "Hollow Mind", Eda saves Luz and Hunter and gets them out of Belos' mind. After Hunter starts breathing heavily, Eda tries to help him after lending her hand. However, he chooses to run away.

Because of Hunter's golden owl mask and the mysterious presence he left at the end of season one, TOH fans had assumed that the Golden Guard might had been Eda's son. With Eda having a few ex-boyfriends it got a few season one fans to think that it wouldn't be surprising if she might have mothered a child with one of them. The theory was dismissed soon after season two revealed things about Hunter, like the fact that he is the clone of Belos's brother who fell in love with a witch, that many believe to be Eda's ancestor. With how Evelyn's hair style is just like Eda's from when she was a young adult. The theory of Evelyn being a Clawthorne, as well as Hunter partly resembling Dell Clawthorne, it got a few people to view Hunter and Eda as family. With Evelyn shown to be with child when Caleb Wittebane was killed, and Hunter being Caleb's young clone.
Even though the theory of Hunter being Eda's long lost son was disproven, the idea of having Eda as Hunter's mother is explored in a few AUs within the Owl House fandom. Like having Eda find Hunter as a baby or a little kid who lost his memory and adopts him, like she did with King. As for AUs of Hunter being raised in the human realm and ends up following Luz to the Demon realm, Eda tells Hunter that he is actually a witch and helps him to better understand his witch heritage. Eda is also one of the top TOH characters that fans wanted to adopt Hunter, so he could become a member of the Owl House Family. Those who have Lilith as Hunter's adopted mother instead, however, place Eda as his weird fun aunt.
