Edelius is the poly ship between Eden, Elysia and Mobius from the Honkai fandom.
Canon[]
Elysia, Eden, and Mobius were Flame-Chasers in the Previous Era. Though the three as a group don't have a lot of interactions together, all of them are friends, with Elysia and Eden being the closest. Mobius mostly kept to herself and wasn't very open about her appreciation for the two. She considered Eden's singing to be an "annoyance" and claimed to hate Elysia. However, as can be seen most clearly in the Flame-Chaser relationship chart, Mobius did care for both of them deep down.[1]
All three had a hand in creating the Elysian Realm. Eden originally owned the land, called the Golden Courtyard at that time. She gave it to Mobius, trusting in Mobius's vision in preserving the memory of the Flame-Chasers. Elysia named the space after herself and turned it into a meeting place for the Flame-Chasers.
After the massive loss against the 12th Herrscher, Elysia decided to reveal herself as the 13th Herrscher to give humanity an enemy to unite against. Elysia invited all her closest friends to her final banquet, her way of giving her last goodbye to her friends before sacrificing herself. Before the banquet, Eden and Mobius were already be aware of Elysia's identity.[2][3] Elysia told Eden her backstory, while it appears Mobius was able to deduce Elysia's identity by herself. Eden attended the banquet, while Mobius did not. Regardless, all of Elysia's friends trusted in her despite Elysia being a Herrscher.
Eden and Mobius were greatly affected by Elysia's death, as both lost a dear friend. Elysia's sacrifice contributed to the growing idea in Mobius's mind that immortality is useless.[4] Meanwhile Eden had long been planning to die with the Previous Era. When the last of humanity retreated to the cryopods, Eden stayed outside. Mobius tried to convince her to live on to the next era, but Eden explained her decision with something Elysia once told her — the people of this era had grown up listening to her songs, so Eden believed that she belonged to this era. While Eden and Mobius stood together outside, Eden remarked that the place would have been livelier with Elysia around. Mobius replied that her screeching would drown out the music. Eden says she knows Mobius doesn't like Elyisa, but many of her remarks turned out to be true. Mobius didn't respond, not wanting to continue this topic. In the end, Mobius isn't able to convince Eden to live on.[5] As the time for the cryopods' activation draws closer, Mobius records a message to her sim explaining why she chose to die, mentioning how Elysia's death affected her viewpoint. However, it appears this was not her true plan; Mobius waits until after Eden's death, then visits PROMETHEUS for unknown reasons.[6]
Fanon[]
Edelius is a rarepair in the fandom. It is not as popular as Elyedenponia, another poly ship that involves Elysia and Eden. Fans enjoy Edelius for the interesting relationships all three have with one another.
