Edlette is the het ship between Edgar and Colette from the Brawl Stars fandom.

Lore

Edgar and Colette are playable characters in the game Brawl Stars and are co-workers at the Starr Park gift shop, where Griff is their boss. While Colette seems to enjoy her job, Edgar seems to spend most of his time bored rather than working.

In the animation for "To Brawl and Beyond", Edgar and Colette appear to be very close, with Colette eager to know what's inside the box and Edgar not interested at all. At the end of the animation, Colette pulls his arm and the two walk away together. In a TikTok post by Brawl Stars Korea, titled "Beat the Maze and Find Love", Edgar must beat the maze to find Colette. Brawl Stars Korea has apparently canonized other ships like ManChester. In many official art works, Colette and Edgar appear to be good friends, despite their disagreements.

In various pieces of official artwork, Edgar and Colette are often depicted side by side, showcasing a dynamic of contrasting personalities—Colette's energetic and obsessive behavior versus Edgar's brooding and detached attitude. Despite their differences, they consistently appear as a duo, implying a strong friendship at the very least.

Game

In the game, Edgar and Colette have models with certain similarities. In addition to their uniforms, they both have dark circles under their eyes and one side of their face is covered with hair.

Some of their skins can be combined, which occurs in Trixie/Impie Colette and Dark Angel/Night Bringer Edgar. The "Thanks" pin of both Brawlers has phrases that match each other, where Edgar appears to be sad and Colette consoles him, saying that she still loves him.

Depending on the player's choice, Edgar and Colette can be allies or enemies.

Edlette is one of the most popular ships in the fandom and between the two brawlers, competing with other famous ships such as Brocklette, Emzgar and Jangar.

The ship gained popularity due to the characters' contrasting traits—Colette's bubbly and obsessive nature versus Edgar's emo and detached persona. Fans often depict scenarios where Colette's affection gradually breaks through Edgar's cold exterior, leading to humorous and heartwarming moments.

The animation studio "Spark Studios" gained popularity by creating animations that treat Edgar and Colette as a couple.

• Edgar and Colette were both released in 2020. Colette was released on September 14, and Edgar on December 19.
• The fandom has debated the age of the Brawlers, especially regarding the ship. According to Paul, a former Supercell designer, Edgar was envisioned to be around 16 years old during his creation, while Colette was intended to be around 19. Ricardo Tomé, ond lf the current Brawl Stars designers, later clarified that Colette is between 18 and her early 20s.
