Eggdrop is the femslash ship between Eggy and Teardrop from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Seeing Teardrop storm out after being forced to talk, Eggy approaches her as she sits by a cliff. Eggy believes that her surroundings just doesn't understand the appeal of silence, relating to a time where she never spoke. Teardrop is interested by it but Eggy mistakes it as a lack of care for her past. Teardrop begins waving her arms out of excitement but ends up provoking Eggy and makes her leave. Lollipop wonders why Eggy was yelling at her to which she explains how she didn't think Teardrop was interested in her life stories. Lollipop shares a similar story to her about how she tried to sell her fork repellent to Teardrop but ended up thinking she didn't care. As Pillow convinces them that Teardrop's arm fluttering is a gesture of apathy, Eggy thinks that Teardrop is hard to impress.
Eggy walks up to Teardrop one night when she's sitting by herself. Although thinking she still might not be interested, Eggy tells Teardrop her life story anyways. Teardrop smiles as she listens to how Eggy's early feelings of being content led her to not talk often.
Later in The Power of Two, Eggy immediately sets off to the recovery center when she witnesses Teardrop getting disintegrated. She sneaks towards the recovery center as soon as Death P.A.C.T. Again leaves and recovers her. Teardrop gets up and smiles at her and Eggy grins as Teardrop runs off. However, Eggy gets defensive when Winner tries to compliment her generosity. After the challenge ends when Eggy believes her team is tied for last with Teardrop's, she doesn't mind beating her in a tiebreaker. She is shocked when Two reveals that Teardrop did not place last and Eggy wonders how she pulled it off.

Eggdrop was a popular pairing in the fandom for the two, especially early in the fourth season. What mainly sparked interest in shippers was Teardrop's will to hear from Eggy and her eventually telling her life story privately to Teardrop. Several fans have noticed that Eggy has treated Teardrop much more fondly than everyone else she's had a connection with, such as her tone of voice when explaining her life story and later in TPOT taking in Teardrop's thankfulness for being recovered by her. Because of their dynamic being established early in the season, a good amount of fan art was made during its run and even to this day shippers still appreciate art of them being close mainly from sites such as DeviantArt and Tumblr. Alongside art, video clips, edits, and fan fiction have also been made to support the ship. Eggdrop is still one of Eggy's most popular ships to this day but certain pairings involving Teardrop rival the ship such as Leafdrop (Leafy x Teardrop), Wooddrop (Woody x Teardrop), the Newbie Alliance (Gelatin x Lollipop x Teardrop), and Eraserdrop (Eraser x Teardrop).
On AO3, there are three works under their tag. It is the most written ship for Eggy but the 7th most for Teardrop.
