- For five centuries I dueled the Raiden Shogun in my personal realm of consciousness, to confirm the steadfastness of my will. Yet this Furina you speak of, though possessing only a frail human body, committed herself to acting out her part every second of every day for five hundred years — a true battle of the spirit. Her willpower has indeed reached the level of a god.
- —Ei's voiceline about Furina
EiRina is the femslash ship between Raiden Ei and Furina de Fontaine from the Genshin Impact fandom.

Ei and Furina currently have no interactions, but numerous similarities. Both were at some point considered members of the Seven, the Electro Archon and Hydro Archon respectively. While Ei is a God and still a member of the Seven, Furina was revealed to have been faking her divinity and is no longer regarded as an Archon. They also went through smiliar experiences of suffering. Ei battled against the Shogun, the puppet she created in her Plane of Euthymia for 500 years. This relates to Furina's act as a God which went on for 500 years as well.
Along with their shared suffering, they have many simalarities and differences. Raiden Ei has a calm, almost stoic demeanor, yet she bears the heavy burden of being the Electro Archon, often confronting the harsh consequences of her choices—such as the Vision Hunt Decree. Her leadership is marked by a distant, almost detached quality, as she focuses on the greater good, sometimes at the expense of individual lives. Her decisions, though difficult, are rooted in a vision of eternity and stability. In stark contrast, Furina's initial presentation reveals a character that is energetic, theatrical, and perhaps a touch whimsical. Her expressive nature stands in sharp opposition to Raiden Ei's quiet resolve, with Furina often taking a more active role in making decisions. There's a certain personal flair in her approach, filled with a sense of drama and spontaneity, allowing for a leadership style that feels much more immediate and relatable compared to Raiden Ei's solemn, distant command.
However, despite their differences in personality and demeanor, they both heavily share the trait of irresponsibility. Raiden Ei was never supposed to rule over Inazuma, and therefore had no experience in it. Her extreme persuit in eternity led her to establish harsh laws, such as the Vision Hunt Decree in an attempt to stop change. Additionally, Raiden Ei chose to use a puppet, The Shogun, to rule over Inazuma, disconnecting her from her people and their wants and/or needs. On the other hand, Furina's sense of justice is intertwined with dramatic impluses and theatrical nature, also making her irresponsible. She has been shown to act quickly, driven by emotion and a sense of righteousness, without always fully considering the consequences of her actions on those involved. While this trait makes her engaging and charismatic, it also means that she sometimes rushes to conclusions or acts without fully weighing the complexities of a situation. For example, in her role as the Hydro Archon, her judgments may be overly influenced by her own shaky ideals of truth and justice, leading her to make decisions that are not always fair or balanced.
Fanon[]
EiRina is a rarepair within the Genshin Impact fandom, with limited content compared to more popular ships. As of now, there are 10 romantic works and 18 non-romantic works on Archive of Our Own (AO3), along with only 2 or 5 known fanarts. Despite their lack of direct interactions in canon, fans of the ship are drawn to their contrasting personalities, thematic parallels, and potential for a unique dynamic.
Many EiRina fan interpretations focus on the contrast between Ei’s stoic, reserved nature and Furina’s expressive, theatrical personality. This contrast allows for a variety of dynamics, from Furina drawing Ei out of her shell to Ei serving as a grounding presence for Furina’s impulsive tendencies. Some fans explore the idea of Furina helping Ei reconnect with the world beyond eternity, while others focus on Ei offering Furina the stability she lacks after losing her position as an Archon.
Given their thematic similarities—particularly their struggles with responsibility, identity, and the burdens of leadership—some fanworks explore their relationship through mutual understanding and emotional healing. In these portrayals, they bond over their shared experiences of isolation, self-doubt, and the expectations placed upon them as figures of authority.
Despite EiRina’s rarity, fans who support the ship appreciate its potential for deep, introspective storytelling, emotional catharsis, and the interplay between Furina’s passion and Ei’s quiet wisdom. However, EiRina remains overshadowed by more popular ships, such as EiMiko on Ei's side and Neuvifuri on Furina's side.
