Einfinn is the slash ship between Einar and Thorfinn from the Vinland Saga fandom.

Farmland Saga[]
The two of them meet after Einar becomes enslaved on Ketil's farm. The two of them initially have a distant relationship as Thorfinn is rather reserved, whereas Einar is still adjusting to life on the farm. Einar is frustrated by Thorfinn's obedience towards the farmhands, who the slaves awfully. Einar notices how Thorfinn has nightmares and screams in the middle of the night.
In "Awakening" (S2EP4), their relationship becomes more complicated when Thorfinn reveals that he joined the Danish army's invasion of England. Thorfinn asks if Einar hates him, but Einar cannot bring himself to answer though is embittered by the knowledge. Einar tries to strangle Thorfinn in his sleep but cannot bring himself to commit murder. Instead, he wakes Thorfinn up from his nightmare. Thorfinn admits that he is no different from the people who killed Einar's family. Einar asks Thorfinn if he wants to die and confronts him for being wrong that nothing good has happened in his life. Einar tells him not to be so arrogant and goes to sleep. Thorfinn thanks Einar and apologizes to him.
In "I Want a Horse" (S2EP6), Thorfinn and Einar manage to work together to get a horse through labor for Ketil's father, Sverkel. They do chores for him to earn enough to borrow his horse in return. Thorfinn opens up about his past and how he had never farmed before and does not know anything about the process. Einar expresses surprises over this, as he spent his whole life on the farm. Later, while working on Sverkel's roof, Thorfinn opens up more about his past about his past and how he no longer hates Askeladd.
In "Iron Fist Ketil" (S2EP7), Einar prays to God for his and Thorfinn's crops to grow. Then, he pulls Thorfinn forward and demands for him to join him. Thorfinn reluctantly obliges, quiet at first, but eventually raises his voice alongside Einar as they pray together aloud.
The two of them become much closer after this, with them working hard together to harvest and earn enough money to buy their freedom back from Ketil. They are both disheartened after the farmhands destroyed their crops. They both get into a physical altercation with the farmhands in their anger. When Thorfinn wakes up, Einar supports him and Thorfinn explains that he does not want to fight anymore.
Einar and Thorfinn are both sympathetic to Arnheid and Gardar's plight after the latter's escape from his abusive situation and desire to reunite with his wife and estranged son. Even so, Thorfinn stops Einar from attacking Snake and his men, questioning whether Einar could bring himself to kill another person. He manages to get Einar to stop, though the two continue discussing it with Arnheid while she makes dinner at Sverkel's home. The two men listen to her story and decide not to take action to respect Arnheid's wishes to keep herself and her child safe.
Once Gardar escapes, courtesy of Arnheid, Thorfinn and Einar plot with Arnheid to help the pair escape so they can start anew elsewhere. Einar disguises as Gardar to get Snake and his men to go after him. Unfortunately, Snake sees through the ploy and heads back to Sverkel's home.
In "The First Measure" (S2EP18), Thorfinn and Einar are tied up by Snake's men because of their role in helping Arnheid escape. The two contemplate what occurred. Einar points out that he even broke his vow to help Arnheid. Thorfinn, on the other hand, contemplates that there may have been a better way of handling things. A way that would not have gotten so many people killed. They then reflected on the recaptured Arnheid, both concerned about what punishment she may face. Einar hopes that what he does will surely not be too cruel, because Arnheid is so precious to him. However, they remain uncertain about the matter.
Later, the two of them go see Arnheid who had been beaten horribly by Einar. Both of them are shocked by the brutality of what Ketil had done to her. Einar goes to her side, though he is admonished by Pater and told not to touch her.
In "War at Ketil’s Farm" (S2EP19), Einar and Thorfinn meet with Leif and Bug-Eyes. The two of them are planning on escaping together during the battle between Canute and Ketil's armies. However, they refuse to leave Arnheid behind because they realize she will die otherwise. The two travel together and Thorfinn mentions to Einar that he regrets not saying goodbye to Sverkel.
In "Pain" (S2EP20), Thorfinn punches Einar before he can give into his rage and kill Ketil. Thorfinn reiterates his past and how he was stuck feeling rage for a long time and pleads with Einar not to make the same mistake he did. This gets through to Einar and the two cry together over their grief and feelings regarding what happened.

Einar and Thorfinn's relationship are a rather popular one in the Vinland Saga fandom, though most people interpret their relationship as a deep friendship or akin to brotherhood. Primarily due to Einar's role in Thorfinn's character development and the one who inspired hope in him when he had become an empty shell after becoming a slave.
Einfinn has 45+ fics on A03 focusing on a romantic and/or sexual relationship between the men. It is Einar's most written ship. It is the third most written ship for Thorfinn under the Vinland Saga (Anime) tag, and fourth most written under the Vinland Saga (Manga) tag. Rival ships include Askeladd/Thorfinn, Canute/Thorfinn, and Gudrid/Thorfinn.
Many people prefer a platonic relationship between the two, with them having 20+ platonic fics of them on A03.
