Electrustity is the non-binary ship between Electra and Rusty from the Starlight Express fandom.

Rusty is trying to get Pearl to be his partner, when Electra's compents come forward, extending an offer for her to be Electra's partner. Rusty tries to get between them and Pearl, but she is forced to choose between him and Electra. Ultimately she chooses Electra, and Rusty watches them in the first heat in frustration.
After Momma wins the first heat, she tries to get Rusty to take her place, but he is hesitant to do so. All the noise gets Electra's attention, and they come down. They tell Rusty to clear the track, and call him junk. Rusty is about to confront them, when they pull Pearl towards them. Rusty then declares that he well race in Momma's place, telling Electra specifically that they will race them. Electra and their components laugh at this, and Electra leads them off away from Rusty.

Electrustity is a common pairing in the StEx fandom. Shippers often come from the older shows, as some see there being more of a connection in either the original London or Bochum productions. Especially since it plays with the love triangle with Pearl more. The ship is often seen as an opposite's attract type of ship. As Electra is a rich egocentric superstar and Rusty is more down to earth, working class and the underdog. Those that are fans of ships with a height difference tend to also gravitate towards the ship, as often Rusty is played by actors who are smaller than Electra. And when they're not, Electra still appears bigger due to the costuming and mohawk. Its rival ships include Electraboose and Prusty.
Fans of the ship like the idea of Electra flirting with Rusty during the musical, leaving him confused or flustered over Electra. With this extending to post-canon fics where Electra's flirtation continues. Others have Electra stick around in the yard after the race due to developing feelings for Rusty. With it also being a potential scandal for Electra to be with him, due to their superstar status. With their relationship instead having to remain a secret to avoid a scandal. Some also think it would remain a secret due to Rusty's friends not being a fan of Electra. As they had previously conspired to crash them in the final race, and it would take a while for them to gain their favor.
On AO3, Electrustity is the eleventh most written ship for Electra and the ninth most written for Rusty. There are currently 10+ written works.
