He was extremely polite, and it was incredibly flattering to have such a renowned botanist ask for my flower-related expertise. But, I also saw it as a chance to learn from him. I decided to ask some of my own questions, particularly about perfume ingredients from Sumeru, and he gave me thorough answers to each and every one.

Eminari is the het ship between Emilie and Tighnari from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Outside of the events of her story quest, Emilie's new character lines explain her relationship with Tighnari. She elucidates since they barely meet in person, they talk to each other via letters often. She claims he reached out to her first somehow. He was very flattering and polite when asking for her flower-related expertise, which ultimately touched her. As they contacted more, their relationship simultaneously became more casual.
Even so to the point he introduced his own companions to her. She unhesitatingly refers to him as her friend and is very grateful to have met him.
Pomum de Ambra Chapter: Act 1[]
The audience first meets Emilie via her story quest. Tighnari is seen immediately when beginning the story. Tighnari stands in Port Ormos to assist with a "Flower Exhibition". He's assumed to be the expert attending, but it turns out to be false. He's distracted by a patient and is forced to leave the player and Paimon behind.
Emilie then steps in during his absence to ask the famous duo to try her incense. The fragrance cures Paimon's initial allergic reaction. Emilie reveals herself to be non-native to Sumeru (in contrast to Tighnari) when recognizing their unusual clothing. Tighnari suddenly reappears in a rush, concerned. He explains that he had forgotten to warn them about the harmful pollen in the air and returned.
Upon seeing Emilie, however, he immediately relaxes, stating that the two are in good hands. Emilie in return brushes off his compliment as being too thoughtful for her. She elucidates her confusion as to why he treated the pollen as something so dangerous. Her sharp inquiry assumes that something may have happened in the past between them all to provoke such a reaction. Paimon brings up the time they first met Tighnari when the Traveler inhaled Spirit Borneol.
But she's confused as to why she was a victim this time. Tighnari claims that allergies are unpredictable, and at best random. Emilie steps in to provide her own example to support his statement; a time when someone suffered an allergic reaction so Soba Noodles. Upon being asked via Paimon if Emilie is a doctor, she answers she somewhat is one as she is knowledgeable in the field of medicine. Tighnari adds that she also taught him about the flora in Fontaine, proving her intelligence in botany as well.
She instantly returns his statement with a compliment and how he's much smarter than her in botany. Paimon assumes again that Emilie is the flower expert Tighnari mentioned. She's quickly proved false again by him. Emilie confirms she is here for the exhibition but solely for the "Auguste" variety. Said variety is a perfume produced by a flower of the same name. She goes on about how this relates to the "Perfume Mania" incident spiraling in Fontaine.
By the end of the event, every perfume bottle went to manageable prices except for the Auguste. The flower additionally went extinct. She declares it's why she's visiting Sumeru: a rumor states that the mysterious flora had respawned within the region. Tighnari explains that Emilie asked via letter if he could look into the rumor. Despite the favor, the Forest Rangers have not spotted any sight of it as of now.
Emilie adds that she doesn't want to use it for Mora, because it conflicts with her beliefs that perfume should be admired for its beauty and fragrance. Her biggest goal is to debunk the Auguste rumor to return Fontaine marketing to normal. She's reluctant at first to the duo's offer of assistance but gives in. Tighnari jumps in with his status; he claims there are no facts to declare the rumor real currently. He mentions a man, Mr Edgar, that they could talk to for guidance.
Emilie explains that Mr. Edgar was her teacher back then. Emilie and the main duo then depart to meet Edgar at the hotel. Tighnari stays behind to keep in check for everything in the port. Paimon and Traveler return to lay the shocking news that he was attacked and injured. Paimon asks if Tighnari has a plan, and he claims that the sheriff should have everything covered and Emilie doesn't require the Forest Watcher's assistance.
Paimon rebuttals with the fact she's not a real doctor; Tighnari remarks that Emilie is being too modest as she has a much bigger knowledge on human anatomy than most scholars. He doesn't leave out the fact that Edgar's situation is related to perfume, so she's naturally the one who is best for him. He claims he'll return to the Akademiya to find more information on Vijava and Kirya.
Fanon[]
The Eminari ship became arguably quick in popularity as a rarepair. Their fandom mainly resides on TikTok with tags immediately beginning to spiral for their ship. A considerable amount of fanarts can be found throughout social media, mainly Twitter. Shippers depict them as "canon" for their exceptionally friendly relationship that can be depicted as romantic subtext, especially on Tighnari's behalf.
