EraserDeku is the friendship between Izuku Midoriya and Shota Aizawa from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Izuku Midoriya goes to UA High School, his main homeroom teacher being Shota Aizawa. At first, Shota had his doubts about Izuku passing the Hero course. But after seeing him channel his power and eventually have complete control over One for All, he changed his mind.
Aizawa often views Izuku as a problematic student. His actions and behavior throughout the seasons and arcs made Aizawa doubt him. He is infamous for following his heart (but also relies on his logic). He even decides to charge into a fight. Aizawa begins to look at Izuku this way from Episode 5, season 1 where the teen tries to use his quirk on his whole hand during the ball throw.
Shota has proven to be very vocal and unafraid when expressing his ideas. He often is straight to the point when dealing with Izuku, stating how the boy's trouble is bothersome and will get him hurt. Forest Training Camp Arc is one main example in which Shota is almost fed up and disappointed at how Izuku constantly injures and beats up his body.
Shota cares for Izuku a bit more than the other students. Izuku is his most problematic student and often surprises him.
In the final chapter it's revealed that Izuku is a teacher at UA and Shota's co-worker. Shota shows Izuku a video of Katsuki Bakugou yelling at a fan, remarking that he's going to drop on the billboard chart again. This shows that Izuku and Shota are at least on friendly terms.

Fanon[]
In the Eastern fanbase, it is shipped and loved even though being quite a complicated ship and relationship. Some parts of the Western fanbase are comfortable with it. However, most are quite uncomfortable with it due to the Teacher-Student relationship and age gap. This discourse doesn't seem to hinder those who love the interactions and relationship between the two, and neither does it stop others from shipping it.
Most EraserDeku fans started shipping the two from Episode 5, but it began to grow after the Forest Training Camp Arc.
There is currently 13965 fics of the Shota & Izuku tag, with most fics (ether main focused or not) explore more of the fond family or the relationship they have in canon where most others explore Shota being an father figure of sorts to Deku, were others have an AU were Shota straight up adopting Deku (wither or not Deku's Mom is acknowledge or is just forgotten and/or is depicted as really OOC by being written off as being abusive, rude and just in their words "a complete bitch" even word for word written as "Bitch Deku's Mom AU" in most fan-vids and fanfics with that AU specifically written with that name) While a few others write Shota co-parenting Izuku with Izuku's Mom (with some of those fics adding the ship of Deku's Mom/Shota while others just portraying it as platonic co-parenting).
While romantic EraserDeku fans often write fics, draw art or create content for the duo, in angst, fluff, slow burn, time travel, or soulmate AU tags. On AO3, the Shota/Izuku tag has over 1640 works.
