- — Emi and Aizawa reunion
Emi and Shota have known each other for a notably long time, since before their workplaces were close from each other and with this, they were able to help each other mutually if there were problems. Although they got along well before, Emi used to tease Shota like saying they were lovers in the past, and Aizawa didn't like her sense of humor. But despite Emi's jokes, Aizawa shows a good disposition to work with her.
Then the two met again some time later, while Aizawa took his class to train elsewhere. Emi said that she had seen him at the Sports Festival but wanted to see him in person, Aizawa seems a bit shocked due to his sudden appearance with his class. Afterward, she plays another prank on him saying that they had to get married, although Aizawa directly rejects the offer. She then laughs and Aizawa said that it was still difficult to talk to her like always. Emi then proposes that if they got married, they could make a family that would never stop laughing, Aizawa then interjects saying that a family would not be happy like that way. Then Emi explains to Aizawa's class about their previous closeness, and about their supposed love for each other, he later responds that it didn't happen.
After teasing him a bit, Emi then introduces Aizawa and her students to his class and then begins training both Aizawa and Emi's classes. Both of them can be seen together watching their classes in their due training, but apparently Aizawa was a bit bothered that Emi was by his side since for him, there were always noisy people around him. They chat a bit about Aizawa's students, with Emi asking her if he had gotten along with them, Aizawa only denies it, and Emi then laughs again saying that she didn't have to be too embarrassed about it, and then she prank him again saying that he had to go out with her, Aizawa just tells her to shut up. After Emi witnessed the potential of Aizawa's class, he tells her that his class was a bit beyond everyone's class, receiving a serious look from Emi.
EraserJoke is not a popular ship because of Emi's short-time in screen given in the anime, though a lot of fans love the trope of these two and how they get along, but even so it's surpassed by much by EraserMic. It's the most popular ship for Emi on AO3.
