- Shōta – “You can do plenty for them. You can live. You can be here. For a lot of people, that's all the push they need. So please be the same brazen, cocksure guy you are. The one you've always been.”
- Toshinori – “Thank you!”
- — My Hero Academia Volume 26, Chapter 257
EraserMight is the slash ship between Shota Aizawa and Toshinori Yagi from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Shota and Toshinori are both Pro-Heroes and educators at UA High School. They both work closely with Class 1-A, with Shota functioning as their homeroom teacher and Toshinori as the Heroics Teacher. They have both shown that they care deeply about their students, and are willing to put their lives on the line to protect them. The two seem to have two starkly opposing personalities; Toshinori is loud and confident, while Shota is quiet and pessimistic. Shota has shown annoyance about Toshinori's self-confidence, such as when his "A phone call is here!" ringtone went off in the teacher's lounge.

Toshinori saves Shota
Their relationship begins on rocky ground, with the two disagreeing about how Shota runs his class. Shota is upset about the ways in which Toshinori shows favoritism towards Izuku Midoriya, not yet knowing that the two share the same Quirk. During the USJ Incident, both put themselves in danger to protect the students of Class 1-A from the villains and the Nomu. Toshinori is later seen rescuing Shota himself from danger. Toshinori is relieved to find out later that Shota has recovered from any injuries sustained from the battle.
For the first term final exams, Shota chooses to pair Toshinori with Izuku and Katsuki Bakugou for their practical fight. This shows that he has confidence in Toshinori's abilities as an educator. Later that summer, Shota watches on as Toshinori fights against All For One in the Kamino Ward. Following this, UA decides to transition into a boarding school. Principal Nezu assigns Toshinori and Shota to speak with the families of the 1-A students about this new policy. They visit multiple homes together, before deciding to split off so that Toshinori can speak to Izuku and his mother alone.
Shota keeps an eye on Toshinori following his fight against All For One. When Toshinori comes to Gym Gamma to watch Class 1-A's training, Shota advises him to rest. Toshinori replies that it's his job as an educator to support his students. As Toshinori speaks with Izuku about his new move, Shota notices a book called "Even Dummies can be Teachers! Easy Education Theory" sticking out of Toshinori's back pocket.

Toshinori asks Shota to go easy on Izuku & Katsuki
Following the Provisional Licensing Exam, Toshinori and Shota learn that Izuku and Katsuki have snuck out after curfew to fight. Toshinori offers to step in and handle the fight, and Shota agrees. When Toshinori brings the boys back to the dormitory, he asks Shota to go easy when punishing them. He explains that he is part of the reason that the two were fighting, and Shota does seem to ease up somewhat when issuing their punishment.
Shota and Toshinori work with each other during the Class 1-A and 1-B Joint Training, alongside Vlad King and Midnight as well. Shota asks for Toshinori's opinion on Hitoshi Shinso, which suggests that he respects Toshinori. When Izuku loses control of his Quirk during the fifth match-up, Toshinori asks Shota to cancel the match. However, Hitoshi helps Izuku regain control, and Shota believes that all students are still capable and willing to fight. Toshinori seems uneasy about this, but he trusts Shota's judgement.
Some time after Christmas, Shota finds Toshinori sitting outside the 1-A dormitories. He asks Toshinori what he's thinking about, and he replies that he feels powerless.
In School Briefs III, Shota and Toshinori go out to a bar after speaking with the Class 1-A students about the new dorm system. Toshinori is nervous, as he wants to make a good impression on his co-worker. He struggles to start up a conversation, and begins to worry that he is ruining his chances at having a friendship with Shota. Eventually, other teachers show up to the bar and join in on the drinking. Toshinori starts to feel awkward, as he is the only one who is sober. He tries to leave, but Shota grabs his hand and stops him. He thanks Toshinori for fighting against All For One, telling him that he saved the lives of Shota's students. Toshinori is touched by Shota's words, but notices that Shota is so drunk he is speaking to a daruma doll that he has mistaken for Toshinori. Later, someone accidentally knocks over the daruma, and Shota calls out to Toshinori, asking if he's hurt.
