Eratch is the het ship between Eraser and Match from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Match is disgusted when Eraser eats his slice of key lime pie during Cake at Stake. Eraser doesn't understand her disliking of the flavor and tells her all cake is good cake.
Match and Pencil laugh about how Eraser stepped on a nail and launched up and fell on even more nails. Eraser overhears some of it and tells them he hopes they aren't talking about him, wondering why they aren't helping the team with their puzzle. Match calls him bossy and compares him to Pin who was previously eliminated, although Eraser just wants to finish the puzzle.
At the start of the crying contest, Match tries to get Eraser to cry. He does not want to, thinking that crying is for wimps.
After the Announcer calls Eraser "imp", or impatient for short, Match teases him with the nickname.
As Match votes Ice Cube so she can cool down the Tiny Loser Chamber, Eraser agrees with her and votes Ice Cube as well.
Eraser slaps Match for wanting Bubble to win the finale instead of Leafy.
Match brags to Eraser and Marker after she causes their team to be up for elimination.
During the Announcer's flashback of the start of BFDIA, Match and Pencil are chatting with Eraser.
Aw, Seriously?[]
Eraser is the first person Match chooses to interview for an assistant. When Match interviews him, Eraser does not want to be her assistant. After interviewing five other people, Match gathers everyone around and thanks them for trying out to be her assistant. Eraser is still resistant on doing so and when he says this, Match claims she can't hear him. Eraser points out she did indeed hear him or she wouldn't have replied. Match delays her next response so it seems like she couldn't hear him and even states how she replied a few seconds later. Eraser is unfazed by this. Later as Match shows off her new assistants to Pencil, she gets him to say his "Which is?" catchphrase. Eraser later cheers when Blocky gets the idea to burn Match's matchstick factory down. After Pencil and Match argue about losing their assistants, Eraser finds that the whole thing was a waste of time.

Eratch was a popular pairing during the early years of the Battle for Dream Island fandom. Although they did not have many positive interactions in the show, early fans enjoyed pairing them together and sought the idea of them as a couple. The ship is commonly paired with Pen-cil (Pen x Pencil) since Eratch involved Pen and Pencil's best friends respectively. Dozens of fan art was made throughout on platforms such as DeviantArt and Amino Apps as well as fanfictions on Wattpad that showcased how the fandom saw Eraser and Match as a couple. Overtime in the fandom, the ship's support decreased and fans believed the initial popularity was likely just because it was a hetero pairing. While Pen-cil still has some support in the fandom, most modern posts talking about Eratch are either just reminiscing of how shipping was early in the fandom or how most people now see the ship as a gay man and a lesbian. The ship rivals the same-sex pairings Matchcil (Match x Pencil) and Penraser (Pen x Eraser) that have overshadowed Eratch in popularity nowadays.
