EreMarco is the slash ship between Eren Jaeger and Marco Bott from the Attack on Titan fandom.
Canon[]
Following the initiation to the Survey Corps, Marco and Eren have their fist encounter watching the sunset alongside other trainees, as Sasha Blouse runs laps around the camp as punishment for eating during the ceremony. As they go to eat, Marco notes that Eren was not affected by Shadis' harsh treatment, and Eren reveals that he is a survivor from Shiganshina District. During dinner, the other trainees begin to swamp Eren with questions, and as Eren's trauma begins to resurface, Marco saves Eren from the other trainees by saying "let's knock off the questions, people. There are some things this guy doesn't want to remember."
The following night, after the trainees test their aptitude for vertical maneuvering equipment, due to the fact Eren did poorly at his performance with it, he tries asking the others for help. He goes to ask Connie and Jean, with no luck whatsoever, since all they do is making fun of him. Marco, however, jumps in again and suggests that Eren ask Reiner Braun and Bertolt Hoover for advice since he knows they had high marks.
During a training session in which the trainees practice their maneuvering skills against Titan mannequins, Marco forgoes eliminating the targets to increase his score in favor of locating mock Titans for other trainees to eliminate themselves. Eren takes notice of this, and after the exercise is over approaches Marco and inquires about the strategy. Marco explains that he wanted for the exercise to be like a real battle, reasoning that in a fight with actual Titans it would be a smarter idea for him to draw the attention of Titans so that faster soldiers could slay them. Then, he shares his childhood dream with Eren.
Eren then tells Marco that he is a natural leader and that he thinks it suits him. And smiling at him, he confesses he'd love to be in a squad where Marco was the leader. Hearing Eren say this, his fellow trainees begin commending Marco and claiming that they would like to serve in a squad under him as well.
Marco is later found dead after the Battle of Trost, discovered and identified by Jean, who wonders how he died. Eren then meets up with the rest of his friends and is shocked to see that Jean is among the Scouts. So when he asks for Marco, and Jean tells him he's dead, Eren gets petrified for a few seconds. The former cadets then receive their new uniforms, and as Eren watches the capes in awe, he starts thinking of Marco smiling at him.
Historia questions what he means, and Eren responds that Grisha stealing Frieda's power prevented her from saving humanity and resulted in countless deaths, including Armin's grandfather, Thomas Wagner, Mina Carolina, Mylius Zeramuski, Nac Tias, Marco Bott, Petra Ral, Oluo Bozado, Eld Jinn, Gunther Schultz, people in the Stohess District, the soldiers who rescued him from the Armored Titan, and Hannes as well. Eren says that he could never atone for that and painfully remembers training with those people and their dreams of what could be past the Walls. He then announces that he never needed to happen as Historia looks on with tears in her eyes and remembers her own mother. Eren asks Historia to save humanity by eating him. Eren then lowers his head and continues to cry as Kenny looks on from the ceiling. Historia responds by saying that the day Eren called her a normal person made her very happy. Tearfully, she puts the needle to her arm, preparing to inject herself with the serum.
Some time later, during The Royal Goverment arc, when Eren and Historia get captured and taken to the Reiss cave, Eren says that Grisha stealing Frieda's power prevented her from saving humanity and resulted in countless deaths. There, he once agains remembers Marco and mentions him amongst said deaths. Eren says that he could never atone for that and painfully remembers training with those people and their dreams of what could be past the Walls.

EreMarco is not such a popular ship for Eren and Marco, being overshadowed by other more popular ships of the two, like EreMika and JeanMarco respectively. Although it's a very beloved one by fans of the ship seeing how much they both cared for each other. One of the most memorable scenes for the fans of this ship is the one where Eren sees Marco smiling at him in his memory, as many mention how shōjo-like it seems.

Trivia[]
- In a Q&A, Hajime Isayama stated that no woman among the 104th cadets would be fit Eren's ideal type, but, regardless of gender, the characters that would suit Eren the best would be either Marco or Reiner. It matches the amount of admiration Eren felt towards Marco.
