Escofuri is the femslash ship between Furina and Escoffier from the Genshin Impact fandom.

Whirling Waltz[]
Act III — The Price of Every Price[]
The pair, Escoffier and Furina first appeared together in the event, “Whirling Waltz”.
Furina first comes to the Chevalmarin Film Fantasyland in the individual event. Coincidentally, Escoffier is the head chef of the park, creating all of the Signature dishes. The Traveler then convinces Furina to open up her own attraction in the Chevalmarin Film Fantasyland. Furina opens her experience right next to Escoffier’s restaurant.
One day, Furina decides to eat at Escoffier’s restaurant in the park. Furina immediately tastes inspiration from Escoffier’s dishes. Furina suggests Escoffier to start a TV show, Furina even offers to write the script for Escoffier’s show. Escoffier claims she already has a documentary for her kitchen in place. Furina expressess that Escoffier deserves much more than a documentary, she needs something with more drama, more spice. Escoffier agrees, She and Furina are set to start a dramatic cooking show with Furina as the writer and the Traveler as the director.
Epilogue — A Wish For Smooth Sailing[]
Later in the main quest cutscene of the event, Escoffier covers Furina’s ears to shield her as she yells at the criminal who intruded on her restaurant.

In About "Interesting Things", Escoffier expresses her dream of impressing Lady Furina with a dessert that surpasses the famous Gateau Debord. She says that if she could do that, her next goal would be to travel across Teyvat and cook for the Archons, suggesting that gaining Furina's approval is the first and most important milestone for her.[1]
In "About Furina: First Meeting", Escoffier recounts the day Furina dined at her small restaurant in Vasari Passage. When called to meet the customer, she rushed out still holding a knife, only to freeze upon seeing Furina herself. Driven by instinct, she created a “Lily sugar-glazed opera cake” on the spot, which Furina praised and said she would remember. Escoffier was so overwhelmed that she “barely slept a wink that night.” The next day, she received an offer to work at the Palais Mermonia.[2]
In "About Furina: Current Situation", Escoffier reveals that Furina gave her the title of Patissiere Supreme, saying she was “worth a whole army of patissiers.” Escoffier secluded herself to improve her skills, missing many events, including Furina no longer residing at the Palais. She admits she doesn’t fully understand what happened, but calls Furina the most important benefactor of her life. She also states that she would work as Furina’s personal chef in a heartbeat — “no compensation necessary.”[3]
In Furina’s voiceline about Escoffier, she warmly refers to her as “my Patissiere Supreme,” expressing fondness and nostalgia for the days when she had access to Escoffier’s desserts. Though she admits she can no longer afford to hire Escoffier like before, she adds that they’re “still in touch” and that she even sends Escoffier homemade dishes of her own.[4]

In Escoffier's Birthday mail, she mentions Furina, and how Furina suggested a pepper-flavored dessert. Taking Furina's suggestion to heart, Escoffier wrote that she tried again and again just to create the perfect pepper desserts.

Although Escofuri isn't one of Furina's most popular ships, it quickly gained a decent following after Version 5.6 released, which featured their first official interaction. Fans were immediately drawn to their dynamic: Furina, a dramatic Archon with a sweet tooth and very little skill in cooking, and Escoffier, a calm and competent master chef who can (and does) make sweets for her. Many shippers found this contrast both wholesome and funny.
A big appeal of the ship comes from their contrasting yet clearly complementary designs. One Twitter user, @lakelghtlily, pointed out several mirrored details between the two: “mirrored back ruffles with inverted symbols, doubled buttons down the torso, waist bows on opposite sides, blue/pink, black/white; not to mention their matching ahoges #escofuri.” The visual harmony between their outfits has led many fans to speculate that Escoffier may have been intentionally designed to contrast or even complement Furina.
Another fan-favorite detail is their ahoges, which fans joke can form a heart shape when they stand close together. This led to even more fluffy content and memes, with captions like “Escoffier is falling for Furina” or “Escoffier’s ahoge is trying to kiss hers.” In Japanese, Escoffier's tone noticeably softens whenever she speaks to Furina, and fans love to exaggerate this with interpretations like “She’s already in love with her.”
In one memorable cutscene, Escoffier yells at a criminal in a very uncharacteristic outburst—yet she’s seen covering Furina’s ears as she does so, possibly to shield her from harsh words. This moment became very popular among fans for showing how protective she might be of Furina in subtle ways, sparking more fanart and shipping interest.
Although Escofuri is mostly overshadowed by larger Furina ships like Neuvifuri and Arlefuri, partly due to Escoffier being a newer and less prominent character, the ship has a dedicated fanbase—especially on Twitter/X—who create edits, fanart, and ship memes regularly.
On AO3, Escofuri currently has over 20+ works and is the most written pairing for Escoffier, showing that while it may be niche, it’s a ship with strong, growing support.
