Espresso x Sleep is the cargo ship between Espresso Cookie and Sleep from the Cookie Run fandom.
Canon[]
Espresso Cookie does not like sleeping, for one, he is coffee, and for two, he is not fond of several things: such as Light Magic, or Milk. Espresso Cookie also is a hard-working scientist, and because of this, he developed insomnia. He is most of the time working on his skill, which is Coffee Magic. He also does not like Lattes or any other type of coffee that uses milk, as he likes bitter coffee. In The Expedition to Protect Earthbread, Episode Four, Shattered Skies, he insults the milk beverage several times.
Devsisters does acknowledge Espresso Cookie's hatred for sleep. In one of the GNOMED videos, Espresso Cookie and Madeleine Cookie fight over Espresso Cookie's sleep schedule. Which, Espresso Cookie does not sleep, therefore, he does not have a sleep schedule. Madeleine Cookie and Espresso Cookie are often put side by side together for their rivalry, though it is more of Espresso's side. Madeleine Cookie is usually the one to question Espresso Cookie's sleeping habits.
Inspiration[]
Espresso Cookie was based off of the Espresso drink. Espresso is a coffee drink that is extremely bitter, which the benefits of it include boosted energy. The disadvantage of this is not being able to fall asleep. Due to Espresso Cookie being a coffee cookie, and the fact that coffee runs through his veins, it is probably physically impossible for him to fall asleep. Thus explaining his insomnia and hatred for sleep.

Espresso x Sleep is an unpopular ship within the Cookie Run fandom. Most Cookie Run ships include characters that are friends. Or people that don't have bad history together at all. With the fact cargo ships aren't as popular in the fandom, Espresso x Sleep is not a popular ship. Along with that, Espresso x Coffee seems to be a more popular ship - with Espresso being obsessed with coffee. Like said several times, Espresso does not like sleep, nor is he obsessed with it.
