Eulseok is the het ship between Kang No-eul and Park Gyeong-seok from the Squid Game fandom.

Canon

While the two have never properly met, they did work in the same park up until No-eul quits her job. Right before she quits she meets his daughter during her work time. His daughter is shown to be a big fan of No-eul and her character of the pink rabbit, even presenting her a drawing of the two of them together. It is implied that No-eul gives special treatment to Gyeong-seok's daughter, ensuring she receives a candy each parade.

On the day that No-eul quits, she sees Gyeong-seok's daughter be rushed to the hospital. Later she goes to the hospital to return his daughter's hat that was left behind at the amusement park. Gyeong-seok is surprised when he returns to the hospital room to find it there. That night, No-eul decides to join up with the Squid Game again, and is soon brought back to the island.

During the first game, she is surprised to see that Gyeong-seok is a player. Her sight lingers on him during Red Light, Green Light. During the third game, No-eul continues to watch Gyeong-seok.

Fanon

Gyeong-seok's status at the end of season 2 is currently unknown. While he is seen being shot by one of the soldiers, many fans have theorized that he was shot by No-eul and that she chose to not fatally wound him. It is unknown what that would mean for Gyeong-seok, as some have further theorized that he will be forced to join up as a soldier to keep his survival a secret. This would draw him and No-eul closer to each other, as she would be the only one to know his secret and would likely help him to keep it.

Other fans believe that Gyeong-seok is indeed dead, and that his death will cause No-eul to change sides. Along that same line, many believe that No-eul will escape the Squid Game and seek out Gyeong-seok's daughter, whom she will adopt as her own daughter. No-eul is known to have a lot of money, so fans hope she might use that money to help Gyeong-seok's daughter go through her cancer treatments. Another popular hope for shippers of this pairing is to see Gyeong-seok and No-eul both survive, and become parents to Gyeong-seok's daughter together.

The biggest rival for this ship is Hyunseok, the pairing between Gyeong-seok and Cho Hyun-ju. They were shown to bond in the final episode of season 2, during the player revolt. Some fans see the potential for a love triangle between No-eul, Hyun-ju, and Gyeong-seok, with him forced to pick between the sides of "good" and "evil".

There are currently only 4 works for this ship on AO3. It is slightly more popular as a platonic pairing, with 8 works. Eulseok is the third most popular ship for both No-eul and Gyeong-seok.
