EzLux is the het ship between Ezreal and Luxanna Crownguard from the League of Legends fandom.

Canon

Though the two have never formally spoken, Ezreal, at some point, developed a small infatuation with Lux after coming across her during his explorations. He seems to know little about her other than the fact that she is Demacian; thus, it can be assumed his feelings for her are rather superficial in the canon verse of League of Legends. On the other hand, Lux does not know who Ezreal is; while she is not unsettled by his behavior towards her, she is very perplexed by it.

Battle Academia AU

Ezreal and Lux both first-years attending Durandal God-Weapon Academy. They are in the Battle and Sorcery clubs, respectively, and have been shown to have a mutual love for fighting. It can additionally be assumed that they are friends, as they have been shown to train together in promotional material, and Ezreal can be seen speaking to Lux in her skin splash art.

Though limited information on relationship in-universe is available, it is highly possible that Ezreal and Lux are dating. In his voicelines, Ezreal states that they're going on a date and almost says that he loves her; though this could be interpreted as comedic effect, he notably has never once tried to present himself as Lux's partner or taken his feelings to such an extent.

Porcelain AU

After Ezreal repairs a shattered urn he uncovered on an archeological trip, he accidentally unseals Lissandra, whose mission is to collect all twelve Zodiac Relics in order to achieve immortality. He is unable to defend himself against her, but then Lux, seemingly alerted to the danger, appears to fight alongside him. He awakens the Tiger Relic, which he had also uncovered, and uses it to battle Lissandra; however, she escapes before the two can apprehend her.

Currently, the two are allies, and are working together with Kindred and Amumu in order to track down Lissandra and seal her back in the urn. Though Lux was initially cross with Ezreal due to his slip-up, they are presumably getting along better.

Star Guardian AU

They met in the camp after they get lost without a map. Ezreal introduces himself and offers a map to Lux, who thinks that he is flirting with her. They start talking and Lux forgets how sorry she was feeling for herself a few minutes ago. For the first time since getting to the camp, she was not worrying about anything, not even tripping over her own feet. They get lost in their conversation and Jinx startles them both back to reality, and Lux introduces Jinx to him. Jinx asks what exactly are his intentions towards Lux, and Lux starts to blush. After some time, Miss Fortune drags Ezreal back to camp while Jinx begins to pull Lux in the opposite direction. When leaving, Ezreal says that he will catch up with Lux later.

In Star Guardian Ezreal's description, it says that for the time being, a certain pink-haired Guardian from another team has "caught his attention."

The two are seen again in a pajama party. Lux offers to skip the usual slumber party stuff and talk serious Star Guardian matters, but Jinx says it's boring and offers to play a more exciting game. Ezreal excitedly anwers that he wants to play, and Jinx says Truth or Dare. She asks Ezreal if is it true that he has romantic intentions towards Lux, and his mouths opens, clearly not prepared for that game. Janna interrupts saying Truth, but Jinx says that Ezreal has to answer, while watching the color rise in Ez’s face. Poppy says that it's Janna's turn since the rule is the first person to volunteer goes first. After some time playing, Miss Fortune pulls out one the small throw pillows from behind her, fluffs it, and slams it back into the sofa and Ezreal, conveniently knocking the literal wind out his gallant sails in the process, making Lux laugh. Ezreal blushes and tries to recover his normal breathing gracefully.

This is one of the few alternative universes where both characters are heavily implied to have mutual feelings and attraction for eachother, as evidenced by the story.

Fanon

EzLux is a fairly popular ship within the League of Legends fandom, though it is generally outclassed by Lightcannon, Lux's most popular ship. Fans like their relationship for the comedic, love-at-first-sight dynamic and their amusing friendship in spin-offs; on the flip side, some players may dislike the ship due to Ezreal's behavior in the canon verse frequently being perceived as obsessive.

On AO3, the pairing leans toward the popular side and had over 100 works under its tag. They are frequently written in a Star Guardian or modern AU, and fics often include CaitVi, Timebomb, or RaXayah.

• The two are frequently paired together in official content, due to Ezreal's crush on Lux and them being highly popular, trademark champions.
• Zoe has a crush on Ezreal, who the latter is unnerved by, and believes will "[ruin his] chances with Lux."
• For Ezreal's joke with his Battle Academia skin equipped, he pulls out his phone to text Lux.
  • His voicelines are, "And who might this be?" and, "Ooh, a text!"
• Ezreal is not shown to have romantic feelings towards Lux in the Porcelain AU, and it is the only universe that does not portray those in some capacity.
• Ezreal has Lux's concept art on his wall in the Crystal Rose intro on Wildrift.
