The ship is less popular and is frequently hated on due to people seeing them as having more of a brotherly relationship. Shipping picked up when some fans started to realize the little hidden affections amongst the two, and when other Gratsu shippers started to ship it more openly this motivated others to join in as well. Up to this day, this ship is considered a rare pair and isn't seen as much.
