Fanbot is the familyship between Fan and Bot from the Inanimate Insanity fandom.
Canon[]
Before the events of Inanimate Insanity Invitational, Fan and Test Tube built Bot to cope with the death of Bow. The two also built them o cope with the loss of Baby Shimmer. Fan used his knowledge on what she did in the series. Before the events of "Stranded in Paradise", he and Test Tube snuck "Bow" inside Boaty.
In "Stranded in Paradise", the two got on The Pinkers. Realising they're on the same team, they cheered for each other. During the challenge, the two, as well as the rest of The Pinkers, went inside Cabby.
In "The Shame of the Name", after "Bow" introduced Pink Team's name (The Pinkers), Fan looked surprised. After Fan's elimination, he gave a speech that made "Bow" smile at him. Before he was sent to Indefinite Island, he whispered to Test Tube that she has to tell "Bow" the truth about them.
In "Out of Body Experience", it was confirmed Fan couldn't accept the loss of Bow. And because neither could Test Tube, they created "Bow".
In "Spring on the Breakfast!", Bot confessed to Cabby that they're worried about what Fan or Test Tube would think about them when seeing they changed their voice and appearance.
In "A Jury of Your Fears", after Bot asks Test Tube what she thinks about Cabby, Fan agreed with them. Bot gets frightened by him. Fan realises he has never seen them before and asks them their name. After they tell him their name is Bot, Fan realises that he's talking to someone who was once referred to as Bow. He gets really happy to see them again, but due to the amount of emotions striking him, he just tells them "Hello". After the contestants get trapped by Springy, Fan, Bot and Test Tube get in a corner to hide.
In "You Can't Do This Forever", after Bot tried to attack Springy, Fan looked worried. After Bot started tearing up, Fan glanced at Springy angrily. As Cabby is giving a speech to Springy about how Fan and Test Tube made Bot live in a body that wasn't theirs, Fan felt guilty. Later, the two both voted for Cabby to win.
In "Objects in Mirror", when Bot asked Fan where he and Test Tube had been, he looked shocked to see them.
Fanon[]
Fanbot isn't really popular in the Inanimate Insanity fandom, especially due to Fan's very early elimination. Fans liked, however, their friendly bonding, some even comparing the two seeing each other in "A Jury of Your Fears" to a military father seeing their child grow up. Fans have also liked how quickly Fan accepted Bot's identity. Still, Testbot is more popular due to the mother and child having a lot more interactions.
