Fanmarker is the het ship between Fanny and Marker from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Marker wonders why Two doesn't like prime numbers, with Fanny explaining that the teams cannot be divided evenly with a prime amount of contestants. The two later end up on the same team, Death P.A.C.T. Again. For the challenge, Fanny is angered when Marker points out that they can't use the elevator. Marker instead suggests that they use Fanny to propel their team until realizing her force isn't powerful enough.
Fanny clarifies to Black Hole that Marker was suggesting he pulls the blocks up to stack them for the challenge. Marker and Fanny are both excited to help Tree with stealing blocks for their team. The two walk up to Are You Okay's block pile but are chased away by Puffball. Now behind The S!'s pile, they observe Clock rejecting Rocky's ability to vomit up blocks. Fanny takes Rocky and passes him to Marker as he throws up numerous amounts of blocks for them. When Yellow Face tries to stop them, the two point out how they didn't appreciate Rocky enough as a teammate. They reunite with Death P.A.C.T. Again and showcase Rocky's ability to vomit up blocks. Later in the challenge when Teardrop tampers with their stack, the two along with Black Hole and Lightning enact a revenge plan on her. Marker is shocked when Teardrop evaporates Fanny with a laser gun.
When Marker expresses his enjoyment for being in the jungle, she disagrees with Fanny's hatred for it. Ice Cube later gets jammed in a hole beside their Funny Plant and the team must decide whether to kill the plant and save Ice Cube, or leave Ice Cube to die as the plant absorbs her substance. Marker suggests taking off her teleportation bracelet but is told by Fanny that she will "noclip" through the bedrock and die anyways. After the challenge is over, Fanny brings the rest of the team's attention to Marker when no one noticed he was on fire.
Fanny asks the team what their strategy to retrieve the underwater plates is. Marker tells them to hold their breaths underwater and communicate via dance. She gives Fanny and Tree a book to study speaking through dance. When the two quickly learn and master dancing skills, Marker congratulates them and they head underwater to look for the plates. He later checks up on the two, with Fanny telling her she hates dancing. After chatting with Tree, Marker hears Fanny scream and asks what is wrong. Before she can say anything, Fanny drowns. Marker warns Tree to head back to the surface so they don't drown like Fanny.
Marker is shocked when Fanny announces her desire to stop focusing on death prevention during challenges. He tries to ease tension between Fanny and Black Hole by reassuring Black Hole that Fanny is still loyal to Death P.A.C.T. Again. Fanny screams at Marker for stating the exact opposite of her views and Marker tries to gleefully shrug it off. He expresses concern when Fanny later joins forces with Pillow to kill Tree.
When Fanny's attempt to recover Tree with the recovery center works, Marker wants to try it himself to no avail. For the balance beam challenge, Marker and Fanny are the only two who can compete for their team since Black Hole and Tree are disqualified. Marker breaks up an argument between Black Hole and Fanny, stating they can both win challenges while preventing death and pleads them to stop fighting. After the challenge is thought to have ended, Marker points out to Two that Fanny's mouth still remains on the beam. Marker is annoyed when Two calls it a technicality but this ends up convincing Two to count Fanny as still competing for the challenge.
As Fanny starts shaking when Black Hole is unwilling to cause the death of the undead, Marker is relieved that she can not argue with him without her mouth. Instead, Marker gets the idea to move Tree and Fanny follows along with his plan to go underwater and dig.
When the two and Tree are reunited in their regular states in the nightmare challenge, Marker is happy to be reunited and hugs Fanny and Tree. Fanny figures out that they're in Black Hole's dream which makes Marker wonder what he would have a nightmare about. When Marker is recovered later in the dream, he says that it's good to see Fanny and Tree again. However, he is sucked up by Black Hole shortly afterwards as Fanny calls him out for it. Later when Black Hole wakes up, Marker and Fanny escape his head and Death P.A.C.T. wins the challenge for this. The two then go by Tree to get him out of the canal; Marker reassures Tree while Fanny chops him with an axe.

Fanmarker is a relativey new ship in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. The two's interactions come from the current season, The Power of Two and since their stance on each other is developing more in recent episodes, the ship is currently considered a rarepair. Fanart for the two is usually more focused on inner-team bonding, although ship art of them does exist. They both have rival ships that shine more in popularity within the fandom, such as Fubble (Fanny x Bubble) and Markning (Marker x Lightning).
On AO3, there are two works for the ship. It is the third most written ship for Fanny and the fourth most for Marker on the site.
