Fast Food Mess is the poly ship between Electra, Dinah and Slick from the Starlight Express fandom.
Canon[]
Electra, Dinah and Slick do not interact very often in the show. With it mostly being minor things between the three of them rather than all three at once. Dinah and Slick do end up both racing with Electra for the finals. Though Dinah was less willing and Slick only did it because they paid her.
Control calls for the final race to start, and announces each of the competitors. In track two the announce Electra partnered with Dinah and Electra leads her to their track. They then announce Rusty racing with Slick in track three, Slick taking her spot behind Rusty on their track. Slick then pushes Rusty around and makes fun of him, while Electra says that he must go. Dinah for her part is completely out of it and not paying attention to the two around her. During the race, Slick separates from Rusty, and Dinah and Electra split to avoid hitting her. Later, Dinah decides that she's done with racing and breaks free from Electra. Electra then tells Slick about this and pays her to race with them.

Fast Food Mess is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Most often due to the three being part of already common/popular pairings within the show and fandom. Meaning fans are less likely to see the potential of the three being in a relationship. The ship name derives from Electra being fast, Dinah being a dining car and Slick causing a mess at the championships. Its rival ships include GreaseDinah, Arson Girlfriends and Electronents.
Fans of the ship often ship the three partially due to the belief that Dinah would deserve a better partner than Greaseball. Believing that Slick and Electra may be those partners. Especially when fans draw on older versions of the show for inspiration.
