Ferbjeet is the slash ship between Ferb Fletcher and Baljeet Tjinder from the Phineas and Ferb fandom.
Canon[]
Overview[]
Ferb and Baljeet are two good friends who are both members of The Gang. Ferb helps Baljeet to understand the meaning of summer vacation, a life luxury that was never recognized in India, where he's from. Ferb has partaken in creating many complex inventions, specifically to help Baljeet in episodes such as "Unfair Science Fair", "Attack of the 50-Foot Sister", "The Baljeatles", "That Sinking Feeling", and "Cranius Maximus". Although there is very little direct interactions between Ferb and Baljeet, mainly due to Ferb usually never talking, it is proven that they are really good friends and that they have a great deal of respect for each other.
Season 2[]
ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT SISTER
Baljeet needed help growing his watermelon for the watermelon growing contest, so Phineas and Ferb came to his aide. Ferb opened a little portable chemistry set to help Baljeet, which impressed the latter immensely. Baljeet asked Phineas if he could ever borrow Ferb sometime.
WE CALL IT MAZE
Phineas and Baljeet were working on a mathematical way of guessing the amount of jelly-beans in the jar. Ferb repeatedly tried to cut in but would keep getting cut-off by either Phineas or Baljeet.
SICK DAY
Baljeet beat Ferb in a video game and was pretty proud of himself. Baljeet asked Ferb if he just let him win to protect his fragile ego. Ferb insisted that he would never do that, as we saw him casually reading a book next to his unattended video game controller, which was being operated by a drinking bird toy. Also in the background, was a trophy Ferb won for being an undefeated video game champion. This pretty much proves that Ferb did, in fact, let Baljeet win.
Season 3[]
MEATLOAF SURPRISE
Baljeet questioned the logic of how Buford could weight down the flying bounce house they were in by jumping out and pulling it with a rope, considering Buford would have weighed the same both inside and outside the bounce house. Ferb assured Baljeet that it's best to just not question these sorts of things.
CRANIUS MAXIMUS
Baljeet was worried that he was losing his cerebral edge so Phineas and Ferb built him a Cerebral Stimulatory Hat to help him retain his mental prowess. Phineas and Ferb also brought up how they made life-sized plush dolls of everyone in the backyard gang earlier. Baljeet didn't remember any of this and Ferb told him that it pays to show up early. Baljeet would let the power of the Cerebral Stimulatory Hat go to his head and become a villain, plotting to deprive the Earth of all its oxygen. Ferb, along with everybody else, had to work on taking Baljeet down and saving the world.
WHERE'S PERRY?
Baljeet called out Phineas for being ridiculous, looking for his pet platypus, Perry in Tanzania, Africa, when he was supposedly back at home in Danville. Ferb told Baljeet that Phineas has never been wrong before, so although this seems asinine, they should trust him all the same.
WHAT'D I MISS?
Baljeet showed his friends a brand new Ferb impression he'd been working on. Baljeet got all ready and then made one eye bigger than the other eye, while standing in complete and total silence. Phineas thought this impression was uncanny, while Ferb just stared blankly at Baljeet, not saying a single word, just like the impersonation of himself.
Season 4[]
PRIMAL PERRY
Baljeet complained about the dangers of poor decision-making and how each choice someone makes, no matter how minuscule, could cause a butterfly effect that could either save or doom one's well-being in the future and he used ice cream as an analogy. Ferb just admitted that he was getting hungry, listening to Baljeet's ice cream analogy. When a bunch of Baljeet clones formed an angry mob, Phineas and Ferb both got worried, with Ferb noting that angry mobs seldom make good decisions.
OPERATION: CRUMBCAKE
Phineas and Ferb build a giant sculpture of a castle, using nothing but old take-out food. Baljeet compared this to Tadashi Kawamata's massive chair sculpture in Abu Dhabi. Ferb also brought up that this reminded him of "The Sub Lyric Pile Killabuster with Onion on Marble in Salzburg", Austria. Intrigued, Baljeet took out his phone to look up this artistic statue in Austria, but Phineas assured Baljeet that Ferb was most likely just making this up.
ACT YOUR AGE
Baljeet complimented Ferb for getting accepted into a good college, this being the fictional Camford on Oxbury. He told him that the college sounded wizardly and Ferb rejected that it was a wizard college. However, he did admit that there was some wizarding at the college but none that he would be partaking in.
Fanon[]
Ferbjeet is an incredibly uncommon ship in the fandom, with only one known fanfiction of them existing on AO3. However, it has a small but present following on Tumblr. The unpopularity of the ship is mostly due to the strong lack of direct one-on-one interactions between Baljeet and Ferb in the series. Rival ships include but are not limited to; Ferbnessa, Gingeet, Bujeet, Ferbella, Balabella, and many, many more. All of which massively outrank this ship in popularity, even the non-canonical ones.
