GojoHime is the het ship between Satoru Gojo and Utahime Iori from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Gojo and Utahime are teachers at Tokyo Jujutsu Tech and Kyoto Jujutsu Tech respectively. They've known each for over 10 years, presumably since Gojo's second year, with Utahime being 3 years older. Gojo is often seen teasing Utahime, eventually getting on her nerves. Due to their relationship, Utahime is quite used to his teasing and even though she gets agitated, they manage to get along when in action.
Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc[]
Utahime's reaction to Gojo's antics (Ep. 14)
In Chapter 32, once Utahime and the Kyoto students arrive for the Sister School Goodwill Event, she asks everyone where 'the idiot' is, in reference to Gojo. As soon as this is said, he appears, to which Utahime reacts with "Tsk. Gojo Satoru", with a rather disapproving look on her face. He's seen rolling a metal box along with souvenirs for the Kyoto students from his overseas business trip, but notes that none are for Utahime, clearly teasing her. She responds with annoyance, claiming that she wouldn't need one anyway.
In Chapter 33, while Principal Yaga is explaining the event, he is holding down Gojo and Utahime can be seen laughing softly at him. Later, Gojo and Utahime are shown alone per Gojo's request to talk. Gojo asks her if she's angry at him, to which she replies that she's not. He quickly replies that that's what he thought, as he didn't do anything wrong, further irritating Utahime. While he's explaining her why he believes that a human is working with curses, Utahime asks him what would he do if she was the traitor to which Gojo responds that it can't be her since she's too weak and doesn't have the guts to try and betray them. In response, she throws her drink at him. Gojo then tells her that hysterics won't win men.
At the beginning of Chapter 34, Gojo is counting down for the start for the start of the event, and when there's one minute left, he asks Utahime to say some words of encouragement. Since Utahime wasn't ready, she struggles to say something, and stutters. Gojo cuts her off after she musters something by saying "time's up!", making her angry. She continues to shout at Gojo for embarrassing her and tells him that he should respect his elders. In Chapter 40, while Gojo and Utahime are watching the students, Utahime says that the students should just get along with each other. Gojo replies by saying "They must take after you, Utahime", but she says that Gojo is the only one that she has a problem with. In Chapter 43, Gojo's shown surprised by Utahime suddenly standing up to go and pick up her student Miwa, explaining that's dangerous to leave her student who'd just fallen asleep because of Inumaki's cursed technique, out there alone in a forest full of cursed spirits.
In Chapter 45, Gojo and Utahime alongside Principal Gakuganji, are shown running together to help the students. Utahime tells Gojo to go on ahead before the curtain fully forms, but he replies that he can't, as the curtain is already complete. When they arrive, Gojo approaches it and gets repelled, but not Utahime, who mangages to get her hand inside and prompts her to ask him why did he get rejected and not her. Gojo smiles and tells her that the curtain was made with the condition to deny his entrance in exchange of allowing everyone else in. This condition set for the barrier alarms Utahime, who realizes that, a barrier that singles out a specific individual, needs to be created by someone very skilled. Gojo completes her thought aloud, explaning that there's a very skilled curse user in the place with information about them.
In Chapter 52, as Utahime is running inside the barrier, she's shown thinking about the curtain's effect and the conversation he previously had with Gojo, accpeting that he's probably right about the existence of a curse user inside the school or someone working with a curse user. A moment later, she gets attacked by one the curse users inside the forest Haruta Shigemo, but before their battle could start, the curtain gets dispelled by Gojo.
Death Painting Arc[]

Some time later Gojo and Utahime are seen talking on the phone. Gojo briefly tells her about the first-year students, boasting about the triumphal ending of their last mission. He says their success must be the direct consequence of his "awesome teaching". Utahime interrupts him and tells him to hurry up, since it's her day off, and she doesn't want to waste her time talking to him about college life. She mentions that staff members are all busy and cannot attend "a party", meaning she didn't find the traitor among the faculty. He figuratively asks whether the mole is a student, and she says that she will keep asking around.
Gojo's Past Arc[]
The flashback begins with Utahime investigating a cursed mansion in Hamamatsu City alongside Mei Mei. While both sorcerers are figuring out a plan to get out of it, the house is suddenly torn apart by a young Gojo who just arrived to the scene. As Utahime is getting out of the rubble, Gojo says "I came to save you...Utahime! You crying?" to which she strongly replies that she's not and to respect his elders. Mei Mei, who's already safely out of the debris and next to Gojo, joins his teasing and asks him if he'd console her if she cried, adding that she wouldn't say no to that. Gojo turns her down by replying that she wouldn't cry as she's strong. Utahime, trying to insist that she didn't ask for his help, gets distracted and is almost hit by what's left of the curse but gets saved by Suguru Geto, who joins the conversation as well by mentioning that "It's not nice to pick on the weak". Gojo replies that no one would pick on someone strong and that Geto is the only who's teasing Utahime without knowing it. A moment later, another of her juniors, Ieiri Shoko, shows up on the scene revealing that they had been worried about Utahime as she didn't call for two days. Later, Gojo who said he would put up the curtain and quickly rushed into action, gets punished by Yaga for forgetting to do so.
Shibuya Incident Arc[]

In chapter 79, Utahime is shown waiting in the rain for Gojo's first year students. Once they get inside the parking lot, Utahime proceeds to ask them if Gojo has informed them all about the mole and begins to explain that Gojo and her both suspect there're two or more people feeding intel to the curse users. One mole of a higher rank than the principals and another that's feeding information to the higher ups, the latter being the target for this mission. On their way to apprehend the mole, Utahime continues to explain to Megumi, Yuji and Nobara that they suspect this person because Gojo and her came to that conclusion by process of elimination.
Shinjuku Showdown Arc[]
After a month of preparation, Gojo's shown ready to leave to fight Sukuna. As he walks down the stairs, Utahime shows up right behind him. And alongside Ijichi and Gakungaji, Utahime is brought with Gojo as a team to Shinjuku for the first move in the battle. With Ijichi preparing the curtain and Gakuganji playing his instrument, both Utahime and Gojo begin to prepare the complete rituals for their respective cursed techniques. Utahime revales her technique: "Solo Solo Forbidden Zone", which enhaces the cursed energy reserve and output of any sorcerer of her choosing and herself, temporarily, as long as they remain in her range. By including incantations, hand signs, dances and instruments, she manages to channel it to 120% of it's normal effect, and just like Utahime, Gojo doesn't skip a single step in his ritual either. With Utahime's technique to it's full potential alongside Gojo's complete ritual, he shoots a 200% output Hollow Purple, making the strongest sorcerer even stronger.

- “At first, I went to make a character that was a quite specialized in Tsukkomi, but there was direction that she was elegant, beautiful, and only changed when Gojo involved. She often gets angry, but that's why I wished I could make a character that makes people think she's cute. It's a difficult point of view but I think that the nuance is different from hate or distaste. I feel that it is necessary to have a very delicate play as to where Utahime's feelings and how to reconcile with the places she hates to lose. There are many parts that have not been revealed yet, so I'm looking forward to playing the role in the future.”

Fanon[]
This ship took off during the Kyoto Sister School Goodwill Event episodes. Their main trope includes "Opposites Attract", especially due to the extreme differences between the two personalities, with Utahime being more calm and Gojo being playful.
This ship is largely popular within Japanese fans, who call them the "Five Songs Couple" (GoUta - "Five Songs", in Romaji): Go (五) from Gojo's surname, which directly translates to "Five", and Uta (歌) from Utahime, which also directly translates as "Song". GojoHime has been popular within manga fans for some time now, which explains the relatively large amount of fanfictions and fanarts of the ship. Their interactions in the anime adaptation has also welcomed new shippers to the boat.
On AO3, GojoHime is the fourth most written ship for Gojo and the most written for Iori. It is also the seventh most written ship in the Jujutsu Kaisen (Manga) tag and the seventh most written in the Jujutsu Kaisen (Anime) tag.

- According to the Official Fan Book, there are certain contrasts between their personalities as well as their aesthetics: Utahime dislikes sweets and enjoys drinking alcohol, while Gojo likes sweets and dislikes alcohol. Utahime has purple/black hair and wears white clothes, whereas Gojo has white hair and wears purple/black clothes.
- Gojo is listed as Utahime's source of stress, despite the two living very far away from each other.[4]
- According to the Official Fan Book, Utahime's "You should respect your seniors" vs Gojo's "Doesn't matter to me~" was what started his teasing. After that, it became a reflex.[5]
- A volume 5 extra states that she hates Gojo "most of the time". When asked about this, Gege Akutami said that Gojo is not aware that Utahime hates him and thinks of her bad attitude as a joke.[6]
- Gojo tampered with the suggestion box to add an option for baseball. "Utahime, the one into the baseball game the most!" said by Gege in his sketch of Utahime and Momo.[7]
- In the Jujutsu Kaisen Light Novel Volume 2: "Thorny Road to Dawn" there's conversation between Noritoshi Kamo and Mechamaru about Utahime mentioning that she becomes a bit strange when it comes to sports or Gojou Satoru. [8]
- Gege mentioned that chapter's title "Accomplices" refers to all duos who appeared in Ch.63. Which makes Gojo and Utahime accomplices too.
- In chapter 34, Gojo announced the start of the goodwill event and was proceeded by Utahime’s “respect your seniors!” line. This is actually a reference to Ichiro Suzuki, a Japanese baseball superstar, who said the same line in this video during a tournament. Gojo is also shown to be a fan of the baseball player as he’s seen in the manga doing body stretches like how Suzuki does it. These could imply that Gojo and Utahime are probably both fans of Ichiro Suzuki.
- Utahime and Gojo are shown to have opposite teaching styles. While Utahime is the kind to encourage her students to work as a team and support each other[9], Gojo prefers to emphasize the importance of individual strength, as he considers it crucial to survive and strive as a sorcerer[10]. It's also noted that the Kyoto students have good skills for planification on the battlefield as well as a better performance in the classroom compared to the Tokyo students[11], which would indicate Utahime's teaching methods are more theoretical, in contrast to Gojo who leans heavily on being practical and taking the students on missions.
- Gojo and Utahime are both good at singing. Utahime's talent is mentioned in the fanbook while Gojo's ability was mentioned by himself on a special bonus chapter. [12]
- In Jujutsu Kaisen's Brazilian Portuguese dub, when Utahime throws tea at Gojo, he responds with, "Ow! Retract your claws, kitten!"[13]
- In 2021, Jujutsu Kaisen collaborated with Niigata Rice Cracker Museum & Bakauke Inari. One of the crackers' packages depicts Gojo and Utahime as small, cartoonish crackers Borin and Barin. Who are boyfriend and girlfriend respectively[14].
- In July 2021 Ensky released a set of Jujutsu Kaisen playing cards with Gojo and Utahime featuring King and Ace of Clubs and 6 and 9 of Clubs respectively.
- Japanese manga artist Takako Shimura, an author whose work Akutami Gege always finds interesting[15], expressed on her personal twitter account that Gojo's "I'm here to help you! Are you crying?" and Utahime's response "I'm not crying!" seems to show a great romantic comedy[16][1].
- Both Kaiji Tang (Gojo's ENG VA) and Tara Jayne Sands (Utahime's ENG VA) like GojoHime.
- Adam McArthur (Yuji's English DUB VA) also likes the ship.[17]
- Hikasa Yoko (Utahime's JP VA) said that when she watched the first episode she thought Gojo's voice was cool.[18]
- Nakamura Yuiichi (Gojo's JP VA) thought Utahime and Gojo were on good terms even though she says she doesn't like him, so he was very confused when he was told that she hated him.[19]
- Utahime's ENG VA Tara Jayne Sands responded to an artist who drew a commission for Kaiji Tang (Gojo's ENG VA) with: "Oooooh now we need one of Gojo and Utahime together!"[20]
- Utahime's English voice actor Tara Jayne Sands liked a GojoHime artwork as well as a thread of comics made by @mewnbyul, a popular GojoHime artist on Twitter.[21] She also tweeted about a painting of Gojo and Utahime that was also liked by Kaiji Tang (Gojo's ENG VA).[22]
- GojoHime was named as the 4th most searched ship of 2023.[23]
