Fluttercord is the het ship between Fluttershy and Discord from the My Little Pony fandom.
Canon
At first, Discord, a mischievous prankster, was bent on turning all of Equestria into his own chaotic playground, but the Mane 6 defeated him with the magic of friendship, turning him back into stone once again. But then, fast forward to, "Keep Calm and Flutter On", when Princess Celestia has come with Discord in statue form to Ponyville, much to the Mane 6 and Spike's shock, and explains that if Discord improved his behavior, his powers would be toned down for good purposes. Princess Celestia is especially trustful in Fluttershy, who thinks her kindness could be effective to set Discord on his heel-face turn and get him to show his true good colors. Then Princess Celestia leaves the Elements of Harmony with the Mane 6 in case things go awry with Discord, they have to turn him back to stone again.
Season 3
KEEP CALM AND FLUTTER ON
Once they all release Discord from his stone prison, he immediately starts to cause disorder to his surroundings, disguising it with casual, "stretching". Then he reveals that he was consciously aware during his imprisonment, and laughs off the idea of being reformed, especially the ponies' faith in Fluttershy, considering that he's impervious to her, "Stare". But Twilight Sparkle makes clear the conditions of Discord's freedom: behave, or it's back into in stone. Then Discord relents to these conditions, and resigns himself to crashing at Fluttershy's cottage for the duration of his rehabilitation.
Then Fluttershy believes the key to getting Discord to show his true colors, is to befriend him by being as kind as she can. But her friends have their doubts, and promise to remain close in case anything goes wrong. Then they decide to make a back-up plan but unfortunately, they can't make a back-up plan since Discord torn out and eaten all the pages in Twilight's books containing information on spells that could reform him forcibly. Even so, Fluttershy's convinced that she's making progress with Discord, and invites all her friends over for a dinner party to prove it. The party goes about as well as Fluttershy's friends expect, however, with Discord bringing the tableware to life and playing pranks on everypony.
Still, Fluttershy puts up with it all because, in her words, Discord and her are friends and that's what friends do, much to the surprise of everyone, especially Discord, who seems genuinely touched that Fluttershy's willing to be the first friend he's ever had.
But the tender moment's ruined when Angel Bunny barges in and warns everypony that bewitched beavers have dammed up the stream at Sweet Apple Acres, and flooded Applejack's orchard to the canopy. As it turns out, Fluttershy's seen Discord's dirty work coming and puts him to the test, demanding he return the orchard to normal. Then Discord agrees on the condition she remove her Element and never use it on him. Fluttershy, to her friends' dismay, accepts, but then he turns the flood into an ice skating rink. Discord gloats that his friendship with Fluttershy has left him eternally free of the Elements, but Fluttershy, still honoring her end of the deal, is now upset with Discord and refuses to acknowledge him as her friend. This doesn't sit well with Discord at all.
- “I am Discord, the master of chaos! You think you can boss Discord around? You think I am just going to turn all this back because you say so? Because if I do not, I will lose the one friend I ever had?....”

Suddenly, Discord realizes that he really does value his friendship with Fluttershy too much to lose it, and restores Sweet Apple Acres to its original, harmonious state. Everyone congratulates Fluttershy for accomplishing the seemingly impossible task of reforming the spirit of chaos. Princess Celestia then returns and Discord promises to her that he will use his powers for good purposes (most of the time). Fluttershy holds Discord's paw at the end of the episode before saying that "he can be a real sweetheart once you get to know him", which is so heartwarming that all the ponies and Spike look away.
Season 4
THREE'S A CROWD
When Twilight Sparkle and her sister-in-law Princess Cadance are having a day of quality time at a Starswirl the Bearded exhibit—just the two of them, with no interruptions—Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Rainbow Dash make sure that nothing could get in the way of their bonding. However, the girls suddenly see a huge blue creature spinning towards them, which is apparently Discord. He explains to the mistrusting ponies that he's become ill with the, "blue flu", and that he's specifically looking for Fluttershy to look after him while he's sick.
- “I came to find the one pony who truly understands me and could nurse me back to health. Where is that dear, sweet Fluttershy?”

Rainbow Dash tells Discord that Fluttershy isn't here currently, and Discord completes it by remembering her trip to see the Breezies out loud. Applejack questions how Discord knows about her visit, where Discord replies that she mentioned it in her last letter, and also says that Fluttershy and him write frequent letters to each other since they're friends.
Later on, in Fluttershy's cottage, when Discord actually becomes sick by the Tatzlwurm and is quarantined in a plastic bubble, Applejack and Rarity affirm that Discord got what he deserved when he interfered with all of Twilight and Cadance's day out together, but Fluttershy cuts in defending him, saying that he's learned his lesson.

TWILIGHT'S KINGDOM - PART 1
A mysterious cloaked centaur who calls himself Lord Tirek drains the magic out of a unicorn, causing the pony's cutie mark to fade and empowering Tirek himself. Princess Celestia and Luna see this in a vision, and they gather Princess Cadance and Twilight Sparkle, explaining Tirek's past. Twilight assumes that this will be her chance to contribute something by stopping Tirek, but Celestia corrects her, saying the one to stop Tirek is to be Discord. Twilight returns to Ponyville and informs her friends, who are in disbelief of the decision, save Fluttershy. However, Twilight once more feels rejected and heads to the Castle of the Two Princesses to keep herself busy, with the rest of her friends tagging along to keep her company. As they near the castle, Discord meets up with them and brings up a point about the Tree of Harmony and the mysterious locked chest and how it can help Twilight prove herself as a princess, accompanied with his usual shenanigans, which only Fluttershy finds amusing. He also asks Fluttershy if they're still on for tea later, to which she says that she wouldn't miss it.

Meanwhile, Discord confronts Tirek and easily captures him in chains and manacles. Tirek says that he should have known that Discord would want to have Equestria all to himself, but Discord says he's not doing this for himself and that he's doing it for his friends, while adding that, "Just between the two of us, it's mostly for Fluttershy", and squees at the thought of her. However, Tirek appeals to Discord's former nature as the master of chaos, and offers to share Equestria when they take it over. Discord finds himself tempted by the offer and accepts as the camera slowly zooms in on the picture of Fluttershy and Discord on his conjured bedside table.
TWILIGHT'S KINGDOM - PART 2
To protect the fate of Equestria, princesses Celestia, Luna, and Cadance transfer their alicorn magic to Twilight, and in a cruel act of revenge against them, Tirek banishes the three princesses to Tartarus as he once was. As a sign of his gratitude and loyalty to Discord, Tirek gives him a medallion that was given to him by "someone very close." Tirek sees a stained glass window depicting Princess Twilight and realizes that there's a fourth princess living in Equestria. He asks Discord where she is and Discord points him in the direction of Ponyville. After Twilight's friends secure the other ponies' safety, Discord appears before them and imprisons them in a cage. Realizing Discord's betrayal, Fluttershy is reduced to tears.
- Fluttershy – “Why are you doing this? I thought we were friends!”
- Discord – “Oh, we were. But Tirek offered me so much more than just tea parties. Surely you saw this coming.”

- — Twilight's Kingdom - Part 2
- With the ponies together in one place, Tirek absorbs their magic and grows even more powerful. Discord is thrilled by the prospect of ruling Equestria alongside Tirek, but Tirek says Discord is no longer of use to him and absorbs his magic as well. A weakened Discord reminds Tirek of his medallion—his sign of his "gratitude and loyalty", but Tirek says the medallion was given to him by his treacherous brother Scorpan, who had also came to like ponies and befriended them, and considers both him and the medallion worthless. As Tirek leaves to seek out Twilight, Discord is distraught over the same act of betrayal he brought upon Fluttershy and the others.
- After Twilight's epic battle against Tirek, he states that they have come upon an impasse and strikes a bargain with her. All the princesses' alicorn magic for the release of her friends. The Mane 5 all immediately rush to protest and tell her to reject his offer. Fluttershy says, "We aren't worth it!" and Discord touchingly replies, "Oh, but you are, Fluttershy. You are the pony that taught me that friendship is magic. I had magic and friendship, and now I do not have either."
Despite her friends telling her not to do it, Twilight agrees to trade her alicorn magic for their freedom. Tirek then holds up his end of the bargain before absorbing Twilight's alicorn magic. After doing so, he grows to giant size, towering over all of the land, apparently unstoppable. Discord sadly thanks Twilight and gives a hushed apology to Fluttershy, who only replies "I know."
Discord, remorseful of his actions, gives the medallion given to him by Tirek to Twilight as a sign of true friendship. Believing this to be the final key needed to open the chest at the Tree of Harmony, Twilight and her friends place the keys in their slots and unlock the chest. As the chest opens, the six ponies are imbued Rainbow Power. With their cutie marks and magic restored, they rise up in an orb of light to quickly blast Tirek, sapping him of his power and permanently re-imprisoning him in Tartarus. They then proceed to restore the stolen magic to its rightful owners, free the captured princesses, and repair the damage done to the land.
As her first act, she proceeds to forgive Discord and welcomes him back — something Discord is happy with.

Season 5
MAKE NEW FRIENDS BUT KEEP DISCORD
Fluttershy and Discord are having their usual Tuesday tea. Fluttershy talks about how she looks forward to introducing him to her new friend Tree Hugger, the mention of whom Discord becomes clearly bothered by. When she mentions the Grand Galloping Gala, Discord assumes that she is inviting him as her plus-one, but Fluttershy says she's already taking Tree Hugger. Discord is visibly frustrated by this, but tries to pretend it doesn't bother him as he quickly leaves Fluttershy's cottage.
Discord then tries to find someone else to make him their plus-one, but nopony is available. During his first meeting with Tree Hugger outside of Sugarcube Corner, he instantly dislikes her. After the conversation, he receives his Gala ticket in the mail. While he's excited to go, he decides that he can't show up alone. So, at the night of the Gala, Discord arrives with the Smooze. The Smooze is a sentient, slimy green blob that eats shiny objects and grows larger with each object consumed. When Twilight warns him to keep the Smooze under control, he halfheartedly assures her that he will and immediately starts searching for Fluttershy.
Throughout the night, Discord does everything he can to get attention and prove that he's better than Tree Hugger. When the Smooze starts to become annoying, he locks it outside so he won't have to deal with it. When it only causes more trouble outside, he locks it in a closet. He continues trying to get Fluttershy's attention, but is poorly received. After a while, the Smooze, now of immense size from consuming so many items inside the closet, escapes, and covers the Gala floor in slime. The other guests break into a state of panic, and the princesses can't resolve the situation with their magic. Tree Hugger, however, manages to calm the Smooze with some soft singing, causing it to recollect back in one place and release everyone it trapped in the slime.
Everypony cheers for her, and this causes Discord to finally snap. He opens a portal to a different dimension, threatening to send Tree Hugger to it. He says, "I can't have you interfering in my relationship with Fluttershy anymore!" Fluttershy angrily demands that he stop. Discord argues that Tree Hugger had ruined their friendship because Fluttershy invited Tree Hugger instead of him. Fluttershy counters that just because she invited somepony else doesn't mean that they aren't friends, making Discord realize that it's possible to have different friends for different reasons. Finally recognizing his mistake, Discord releases Tree Hugger and pulls all of the treasure out of the Smooze, returning it to normal size. Discord apologizes to Tree Hugger for his irrational jealousy and also to the Smooze for ignoring it all night.
Season 6
TO WHERE AND BACK AGAIN - PART 1
When Starlight Glimmer finds out that her friends and all the important ponies of Equestria have been kidnapped and replaced by changelings, she tells her close friend Trixie Lulamoon and then Discord about it. He is very clearing uncaring about the whole situation until Starlight mentions that Fluttershy was also taken.
After Starlight answers, he doesn't let her finish her next sentence and immediately tries to teleport them all to Fluttershy, but instead they appear outside of the Changeling's Hive due to the magical barrier surrounding the Hive, having to rescue the kidnapped ponies without magic.
TO WHERE AND BACK AGAIN - PART 2
Throughout the adventure, Discord continuously announces that he'll stop at nothing to rescue Fluttershy from the changelings.
- “For Fluttershy!”

He shouts the latter so loudly that it alerts a whole changeling patrol who chase after them.
- “I will have to come back with some new material after I rescue Fluttershy.”
- — Discord, right before he hears a fake changeling Fluttershy.
The changelings take advantage of Discord's feelings for Fluttershy when he is alone, using it to distract him long enough to be captured and replaced by a changeling Discord.
- “I mean, I am separated from the group and just happen to come across the one pony I care most about?”

Then at the end when everypony is saved, Fluttershy and Discord share a warm hug, and in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, Fluttershy even blushes before the camera changes the scene. (Image at top)

Season 7
DISCORDANT HARMONY

During one of their weekly tea party at Fluttershy's cottage, Discord realizes that Fluttershy puts a lot of effort to organize them. Fluttershy's pillows with Discord and her stitched on them can be seen. Feeling like he has taken advantage of Fluttershy's hostility, Discord decides to host the next tea party at his place. Fluttershy is looking forward not only to Discord's tea party but also for visiting his house for the first time. As he has never hosted a tea party, Discord wants to make it even more perfect than Fluttershy's.
After that, he talks with a duplicate of himself about how to organize the best tea party that Fluttershy has ever had.
- Duplicate of Discord – “You have to knock this tea party out of the park for her. She was our first friend, after all.”
- Discord – “You don't have to tell me that. She gave us a chance when no other pony would.”
- Duplicate of Discord – “She makes us want to be a better draconequus. Fluttershy deserves the best of everything.”
- Discord – “Of course! I should get her the best of everything.”
As he was shopping for the party, Discord runs into Pinkie Pie. He asks her how to make an "even better than perfect" party, and she answers that all he needs to do is to make Fluttershy comfortable, which is supposedly easy for Discord since he knows Fluttershy so well.

When returning to his home, a photo frame with him and Fluttershy can be seen on the wall. Discord worries about the fact that Flutterfly may feel uncomfortable and may not want to be friend with him anymore due to his chaotic tea party. With the help of several duplicates of himself, Discord changes his house in Fluttershy's style and then gives himself a normal look.

When Fluttershy comes to Discord's house, she ends up disappointed but also worried because everything is too normal, unlikely of Discord. Then, Discord starts to fade away. The more he acts normal, the more he fades away since he is a creature of pure chaos, being normal destroys him. Fluttershy is worried and begs him to do something chaotic, which results in nothing. Therefore, she starts to act chaotically herself, which help Discord to recorporealize. Once he's fully back to his physical form, Discord brings back his chaotic self, which is what Fluttershy was hoping for. Discord then shares his concerns about their differences that may drive Fluttershy away. She reassures him and stated that she likes him because of their differences.
- Discord – “I was afraid that if you saw exactly how different we are, you wouldn't want to be friends anymore.”
- Fluttershy – “What?! Why would you ever think that?”
- Discord – “Because you and I don't make sense to anypony else.”
- Fluttershy – “That may be true, but we make sense to me. I never would've thought to make singing ginseng before I met you. But you've opened me up to so many more possibilities and impossibilities. So I guess what I'm trying to say is I like you because you're so different from me.”
Season 9

SHE TALKS TO ANGEL
As Fluttershy and Angel were arguing due to the fact that Angel kept interrupting Fluttershy from her duties, Zecora made a potion in order to help them through it. On their way home, Angel gets impatient and drinks the potion, urging Fluttershy to drink it too. The potion causes them to switch bodies. Fluttershy, in Angel's body, is stressed and tells Angel, in Fluttershy's body, to finish her chores. At the Sweet Feather Sanctuary, Angel mimics Fluttershy and says, "I talk to animals, I want to marry Discord..."

THE BEST GIFT EVER
One day before Heart's Warming Eve, the Mane Six prepare themselves for the holiday. Twilight Sparkle is overwhelmed and stressed out trying to get everything done. In order to help her, Applejack suggests doing a "Hearthswarming Helper"—instead of getting multiple presents for all of their friends, each of the Mane Six and Spike will get a single gift for the pony they pull out of a hat.
Rainbow Dash, who pulled Fluttershy, tries to ask her subtly what she likes. However, Fluttershy seems to like everything, leaving Rainbow Dash clueless. She ends up buying a candle for Fluttershy but then, Discord appears as the candle. While he is not invited, he still wants Fluttershy to get a quality gift, and not just a candle. Discord, implying that he is closer to Fluttershy than Rainbow Dash is, decides to accompany her to find a worthy gift.
Discord disapproves all of Rainbow Dash's ideas and, eventually, he suggests her to get a winterchilla for Fluttershy. After catching one, Discord bids farewell to Rainbow Dash as he hasn't been invited to spend Heart's Warming Eve with the Mane Six. Feeling guilty, Rainbow Dash invites Discord to join her and her friends for the holiday as thanks for helping her find Fluttershy's present. Then, Rainbow Dash discovers that when the sun sets, the winterchilla transforms into a winterzilla—a giant version of itself.
The winterzilla attacks the castle where the rest of the Mane Six returns to. As it is causing trouble, Discord suggests Fluttershy to do something. She scolds the winterzilla, making it cry. Upon learning that it is all alone for the holidays, Fluttershy invites the winterzilla to spend Hearth's Warming Eve with them. Discord knew the winterchilla's transformation beforehand but decided to not tell Rainbow Dash about it in order for Fluttershy to have the moment of saving the day by herself by being herself. In other words, Discord wanted to give Fluttershy two gifts in one : the gift of a new animal friend and the gift of Fluttershy feeling like the pony who saved the day.

- Discord – “You mean a giant beast that only Fluttershy could tame, making her the hero of Hearth's Warming Eve, was a great gift? Imagine that.”
- Rainbow Dash – “You mean you tricked me into putting my friend in danger on purpose so you—?!”
At the end of the episode, Fluttershy gives to Discord a Hearth's Warming gift and a hug.
Fanon
In The Break Up Breakdown (season 8, episode 9), Spike calls out Discord, "Aw, come on. You act tough but deep down you're a softie. I mean, you don't have tea with Fluttershy every weekend because you like tea."
In the final episode, which takes place several years in the future, Fluttershy's implied to be living with Discord in his dimension. The writers stated that they deliberately left the scene ambiguous as a way to leave it up to the fans to decide if the two are together or not.
In the My Little Pony mobile game, the profile of Future Fluttershy states: "It isn't ours to speculate on Fluttershy's future, but a life of caring critters and charming chaos seem likely." Some fans have taken this as confirmation and others not, especially since several other couples have been given equally as suggestive profile descriptions on ships which leaves them a doubt and ambiguous yet.
In the same game, Discord lives in Throne of Chaos in Ponyville and a painting of Fluttershy can be seen next to his throne.
At the Comic Con 2018, the voice actors were asked "If your character or characters have a deep dark secret... What would it be?" and Fluttershy's voice actor, Andrea Libman, responded "Well... Don't tell anybody but... I kinda have a little crush on Discord."
In My Little Pony: Discord and The Ponyville Players Dramarama, it is stated that Discord felt a strange yet warm and nice feeling around Fluttershy but this feeling is classified as friendship.
