And he's the toughest guy in the crew...
—Nami on Zoro after his injuries.

ZoNami is the het ship between Roronoa Zoro and Nami from the One Piece fandom.

Canon[]

Zoro and Nami are close friends and crew mates with the Straw Hat Pirates, together they are respectively the longest serving crew members under Luffy. The two get on, generally, well, however Nami is prone to violence when it comes to Zoro’s laidback and indifferent attitude, whilst Zoro can find Nami annoying and difficult. Even so, they have grown a strong bond that has allowed them to become good friends and comrades. Before their meeting, Zoro was amazed at Nami's navigation skills, even stating that she would be an excellent navigator and that she had to join them.

The pair first met shortly after Nami met Luffy on Orange Town. Nami formed a partnership with both Luffy and Zoro, after their victory over the Buggy Pirates, whereby they become crew mates. Following the events on Nami’s home island, Cocyashi Village, she became a fully-fledged member of the Straw Hat Pirates and Zoro’s crew mate. Whilst Nami occupies the role of navigator, Zoro unofficially occupies the role of first mate, making the pair the closest crew members to their captain, Luffy.

Zoro and Nami Argue

Nami tricks Zoro on Whiskey Peak.

Initially, Zoro did not care for Nami, instead just about tolerating her loud presence. Even so, he found great amusement in her heavy-handed approach in dealing with Luffy, such as when she tried to drown him shortly after they left Orange Town. He acknowledged her abilities as a navigator, and valued her for that reason, but found himself often on the receiving end of Nami’s deceptive and mischievous nature. One example was her successfully using him to climb over a slippery oil spill on a bank between two cliffs, allowing her to escape but leaving him trapped. When Nami’s betrayal was revealed, he advised Luffy to leave her behind, effectively proving he does not have any concern for her. Later, he only agreed to go after her because his captain ordered him to do so.

Zoro’s opinion of Nami gradually began to soften. When he was captured by the Arlong Pirates, the crew that Nami actually belongs to, he could see through her act very easily, deducing she was not truly like them. He proved his point by willingly diving into a pool of water whilst tied up, knowing full well she would save him. Even with this understanding, he still made the decision to go to sleep rather than listen to Nojiko tell the story of Nami’s past, explaining that he is only here because his captain wishes to save her. When it came to fighting the Arlong Pirates, Zoro waited on stand-by for Luffy’s orders after Nami finally asked for his help. He then stormed Arlong Park and fought against Hatchan despite being seriously wounded, and for a while he even fought Arlong. Once Nami returned to the crew, he had no objections over this, even though much later he demanded that Usopp apologise before he could come back to the crew after he, himself, had left.

Nami Sits by Zoro's Side

Nami looks over Zoro as he recovers on Thriller Bark.

Since her return, the two found themselves on good terms. Whilst they are prone to argue, they see each other as valuable comrades and Zoro never suspects Nami will betray the crew again. After Luffy, Zoro is most often on the receiving end of Nami’s beatings, normally for being asleep or not helping out where he should. Although she can bemoan him, she acknowledges Zoro’s incredible strength and toughness, being amazed at his absurd tolerance for pain and determination for victory, and even his great skill in swordsmanship. Nami can also be seen caring for him from time-to-time, such as after he was put into a coma for three days after his encounter with Bartholomew Kuma, where she stayed by his bedside whilst everybody else partied. Later on, she even stopped Luffy pouring sake into his mouth so he could recover peacefully. Zoro has also shown kindness to Nami, being willing to carry her about Arabasta even though he knew full well she was not actually injured. On Punk Hazard, despite Zoro’s intense dislike for Sanji, he still instinctively caught Nami’s hand when she tripped and fell even though he knew it was actually Sanji in her body. He is also willing to follow Nami's orders to the letter when it comes to sailing the ship, showing complete faith in her skills as a navigator.
ZoNami Punk Hazard moment

Nami orders Zoro to follow Sanji and Brook.

Often the two can argue over petty matters and disagreements, with Zoro frequently losing these disputes. Their arguments tend to be comical in nature, even in serious situations. They are also the most highly sceptical ones within the crew, often having doubts about certain events. The pair tend to find too good to be true situations not believable. The only time this changes is if Nami finds out that treasure is somehow involved and leaves Zoro as the only person with any doubts. In the beginning, Zoro disliked being bossed around by Nami, but grows to occasionally accept her authority, if only to avoid being attacked by her. When she ordered him to go after Sanji, who was in her body, he agreed to do so. In this particular instance, Nami showed her complete trust in Zoro, as she knew he would not be perverted towards her body and would be able to distract Sanji enough for him to not commit any of his own perverted shenanigans. Zoro has shown concer for Nami, such as on Thriller Bark when he wondered if Sanji had saved Nami, and once again on Dressrosa when she, along with Sanji, Chopper and Brook were seperated from the crew whilst being chased by the Big Mom Pirates.

Romance Dawn[]

Zoro and Nami first meet at the Marine base, while fighting Marines with Monkey D. Luffy. Once defeated, Nami asks Zoro "aren't you that drunk from the bar?", suggesting that she had already noticed him at the bar, while he was fighting marines, to which Zoro replies "glad, I made an impression". Later, once Morgan is defeated, Zoro lifts what Luffy had taken to Morgan's office, and brought to the boat, Nami tells Zoro to be careful, to which he replies that he does not work for her.

The Man in the Straw Hat[]

Luffy, Zoro and Nami head to their new destination, and in the meantime, Nami tries to open Morgan's safe, with Zoro telling her if she will it off after two "knocks" since he was trying to take a nap, to which Nami replies "oh I'm sorry, were we interrupting your beauty sleep?" and in turn he replies that if she didn't like what she saw to look away. After Nami opens the safe, she finds a map inside, with Zoro standing next to her, and wondering how there is only that since it should also contain gold, but Nami replies that that map is worth even more than gold, as it is the map for the Grand Line. Later, the trio is taken by surprise by Buggy's pirates, throwing smoke bombs at them, and finding themselves, once awakened, inside a box. Zoro tries to break in, but Nami tells him to stop. After a while, they realize that they are inside a circus, which is none other than Buggy's ship. Captured by Buggy's pirates, Luffy was dangling tied and Zoro and Nami were captured together, respectively tied to a wheel and locked inside a cage. Zoro, although trying to squirm in vain, Nami tells him that the ropes were too resistant even for someone like him. Later she tells him that as soon as she got out of the tent she saw a tower, with Zoro replying "you mean, when you tried to leave us for dead?", but according to Nami he was trying to fight a battle unarmed and surrounded, and that therefore it would be useless. Zoro thought, however, that Nami would leave him there, as they were looking for a way to free themselves, but she needed him to trust her, as he knew he was talking to "a thief who asked to trust him". He asks her if she has a lock pick, to which Nami replies that she had four but needed more time to break the lock, asking him to let them talk. A henchman of Buggy, who was none other than the brother of Mr 7, cuts with a knife accidentally thrown towards the rope in which Zoro's right arm was tied, the latter tells him not to turn around, since behind him there was Nami who had freed herself from the cage, and that with a kick sends him towards Zoro and he knocks him out. Once Nami frees Zoro, he asks her what the current plan is, to which she replies that they beat hell out of every clowns they see, and before going to free Luffy they both smile at each other. Later, together they find themselves fighting Buggy, and surprised by the latter's powers, they both find themselves back to back dodging the various body parts that were thrown at them.

Tell No Tales[]

Luffy shows Zoro and Nami their new Jolly Roger, despite they repeating that they are not a crew. Zoro exits the cabin he had mistaken for the toilet, telling Nami that the compartment hidden under the floorboards inside the cabin was boarding. After Nami checks the functionality of her Den Den Mushi, she exits the cabin asking Zoro what he did, but the only answer she gets from him is that she should have stolen a better boat. Once they land on the island, Luffy searches for a new boat, and Zoro and Nami remain next to each other, stating that the only solution was to find a new ship and see how lax the security were around there. Later, they reach Luffy and meet Usopp for the first time, as he had what was a good ship with him. However, the boat belonged to her friend Kaya, who apparently, was part of a wealthy family. Luffy, Zoro and Nami follow Usopp, who takes them to his friend's house. Seeing the house, Nami reflects on rich people with Zoro, stating that money shows how truly people are and that most people simply care about themselves, with him telling her that it sounded like someone he knew. Nami later replies that a small staff makes withdrawals easy, and Zoro asks her if it's going to steal a blind spot. As they continue, Zoro claims that this guy was full of shit, with Nami agreeing with him, but as long as he let them into the house in that case it didn't matter. Once inside, Nami takes the opportunity to see some clothes, and while rummaging, she takes a shirt and throws it to Zoro. During Kaya's birthday party, Zoro is seen wearing the shirt Nami gave him.

The Pirates are Coming[]

In this episode, once Luffy has finally beaten Kuro, the others go down the stairs, seeing that Kuro's henchmen are also beaten, by Zoro, and the latter was sorry for not being able to collect their bounty, to which Nami adds that they cannot and that the marines knew where they were at that moment and that they had to escape. In fact, Kaya decides to give Merry to Usopp and his companions so that they can resume their journey, with Zoro and Nami who are close together also watching the possible nonsense of Usopp and Luffy. Once they resume their journey, Usopp shows them his Jolly Roger, but Luffy disputes him saying that they already had it, and continuing with their antics about who should be the captain, Zoro and Nami who were sitting next to each other, laugh at this together.

Eat at Baratie![]

The crew is targeted by the navy, continuously firing cannon shots at the Merry. Nami takes the reins of the situation, ordering Zoro to put the escort going to the port. He asks her where the port was, with Nami telling him it was on the left. Once the navy retreats, as Luffy deflects a cannonball thrown by Garp, Nami asks what their ship looked like at the time, and Zoro says that besides some broken railings nothing like that, as it could have been even worse. Since Luffy's grandfather was in command of the seaship at the time, Nami tells Zoro to go to him and ask him how he felt at that moment, since he was his first mate. Afterward, Zoro claims he was fine, with Nami telling him he probably didn't even ask him. During their journey inside thick fog, Luffy smells a smell of food. Zoro and Nami comment on the situation together, stating if he had any brain damage, and that he probably had it every day. According to Zoro, it probably came from an island, but Nami replies that there were no islands around. However, after a while they see a restaurant in the distance, which was the Baratie. The crew enters the restaurant, with Usopp and Luffy immediately going to the table to eat, and Zoro and Nami tipping the butler before leaving. They then sit next to each other, and here they first meet Vinsmoke Sanji, who makes advances to Nami, and asks her which drink she prefers and in which glass, with Zoro observing everything with a serious expression, telling the cook, that for him and his friends they could bring water and a beer. Once the order is made, Zoro begins to tease her by using the terms used by Sanji to woo her as "madam". Eating everything, Zeff goes to their table, picks up and takes Luffy behind the back, telling him to wash all the dirty dishes that were there since they didn't have enough money to pay. Zoro and Nami comment on the situation saying only that they need to drink. The three are left alone, with glasses of alcohol on the table. Nami continues to stare at the glasses, claimed by Zoro if they had gold on them. However, the only reason was that she thought Luffy had messed everything up, but Zoro tells her that they had made enemies everywhere they went. Meanwhile Luffy was still with Sanji cleaning the dishes and Usopp was telling stories to the customers of the bar, Zoro and Nami are left alone with the glasses of alcohol, both stating that they knew each other better than they do themselves, Nami also claims that he was an open book, everything continues with lots of looks. In the end, they both drink their own quantities. While Usopp continues to tell stories about his adventures, he is recognized by Dracule Mihawk, sent there to look for Luffy, but is taken to Zoro and Nami asking if they have ever seen Monkey D. Luffy. Nami stated that they did not know him by seeking understanding from Zoro, but the latter had all he wanted from Mihawk was to confront him, as he idolized him and always wanted to challenge him to a duel. Later, Luffy and the others discuss the situation, with Nami being very worried about Zoro. According to her, he was without a doubt the best she had ever known, but he could never defeat an opponent like Mihawk, as he was definitely stronger than him. Zoro asks her why she cared so much about him. The only answer he gets from Nami was because he was her friend, calling him also an idiot. But he points out that she had no friends. However, despite Nami telling Luffy to make Zoro think about fighting Mihawk, he decides not to stop him as it was his dream. You can see Nami shaken, so much so that she decides to take her things to leave, but despite everything she decides to stay to see the fight. The frame also shifts to her as well as her companions. She grabs Usopp's hand, hoping Zoro will get the better of him, but Zoro is eventually defeated, with a large wound on his chest. Nami's expression changes again, with the frame moving back to her.

The Chef and the Chore Boy[]

After the fight, the other members of the crew put Zoro on the table, bleeding, and after opening his shirt to see the wounds, Nami tells Luffy that a doctor is needed. Once Luffy takes Zeff and Sanji to see Zoro's plight, Nami is still close to Zoro, saying that a real doctor was needed. After Zeff closes his wounds, Zoro is taken to Nami's bed, and later it is seen that she tells a story aloud, next to the wounded swordsman. Luffy enters through the door, to see the situation, and Nami scolds him for not stopping Zoro, but according to him it was still his dream as everyone had dreams, but she replies that her dream at that moment was for Zoro not to die in her bed. Later, Arlong's Pirates and Arlong break into Baratie, and are joined by Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji, while Nami was still with Zoro, telling him that the reason she had no friends was because she would end up hurting the people closest to her. After Zoro wakes up, he tells Luffy that he had the strangest dream, that Nami left the crew.

The Girl with the Sawfish Tattoo[]

After the crew sets off to go to Nami, they discuss how it is possible for her to be part of Arlong's crew. Sanji says she needs to be saved, but Zoro replies that she had a tattoo that said otherwise, and if so, he adds that he didn't know Nami at all. However, once they reach the island Conomi, they see Nami in the distance, who are joined by the latter, and tells them to leave there since she did not need their help. Unbeknownst to her, they decide to stay, taking place in Nojiko's house, and later, Luffy and Zoro discuss Nami, and although Zoro showed that in any situation he was cold, he was clearly worried about her too.

Worst in the East[]

Later, the crew goes to fight the fish men, with Luffy deciding to facing Arlong, defeating him by destroying everything around him. Nami comes out of the structure that would have collapsed to pieces, and instead of going to Sanji rushes towards Zoro and Usopp, hugging them.

They spend the night there at Nami's home village, and the next day they finally gather together on the ship, telling their respective dreams. While Luffy, Sanji and Usopp shout for joy, Zoro and Nami just laugh, ready to head to the Grand Line.

Differences between anime and manga[]

Sometimes the moments between Zoro and Nami in the canon material are changed in the anime at almost unreal moments.

  • Davy Back Fight saga: In the anime, Nami suffering insults from the Foxy gang for her nature, hits Zoro because he did not cover her up and only told the truth; in the manga, Nami accepts what he says, without attacking him.[2]
  • Thriller Bark saga: Of Brook's entry of the crew, it does not excite all the components, in the anime Nami is stands up without hiding anywhere; in the manga, Nami is shown next to Zoro in terror.[3]
  • Wano saga: When Zoro tries the new sword entrusted to him (Enma), he cuts the cliff in front of him, in the anime Nami is shown with an astonished expression like everyone else; in the manga Nami is shown amazed and at the same time with a calm expression, moreover she bluss at what Zoro has done.[4]
  • While in the anime it is absent, in the manga of chapter 08 there is Zoro's amazed expression and his dialogue about Nami's abilities regarding navigation.[5]
  • In chapter 975, Zoro and Nami are seen together in the same panel. The scene was removed in episode 978.[6]

Behind The Scenes[]

Kappei:“You're definitely like that at events! You'd watch over us during the event's progression, but won't hold back when things need to be said! But with this many members in the crew, I think people who balance out the dynamic in the group are vital. So you and Nakai really balance things out for us within the Straw Hat crew.”
Okamura:“It makes me happy to hear you say that. Nakai always delivers the punchline no matter what kind of hints I throw his way. *laughs*.”
— Interview between Kappei and Akemi about Zoro/Nakai and Nami.
Kappei:“You were chosen to be Nami's voice actress through an audition, yes?”
Okamura:“Yes. We were put in groups of three to voice dialogues between Luffy, Zoro and Nami. As it turns out, I was in the same group as Nakai [the voice of Zoro]!”

Fanon[]

Initially, ZoNami proved to be a very popular ship in the One Piece fandom. Its popularity began when they first met where Zoro saves Nami from the Buggy Pirates. Since then their popularity grew more and more, started mainly from 2004[7] until 2017, and managed to rival LuNami, the most popular het ship in the fandom. Due to few moments between them post time-skip[8] and by the evolution of fandom, the ship's popularity began to drop (from 2018 onwards) and has since ranked 7th[9] among the most popular het ships. Until 2021 it was still considered a popular ship in its own right, only to collapse even more with time. Since the release of Netflix's One Piece: Live Action series, the ship has managed to attract more popularity in the fandom, but more among Japanese fans. This, due to the many and heavy contents between Zoro and Nami, as even those who do not ship have noticed the obvious chemistry that exists between them, and also based on the fans' interpretation of the moments between them, they could be considered as romantic. The ship also received a lot of fanfiction and fanarts on the Pixiv and other fanfiction sites, in a short time.

Despite this, in modern Western fandom it remains a very unpopular ship, compared to the old Western fandom, as het ships are not as prevalent as slash and femslash ships in fandom, and due to the high popularity of other ships involving Zoro and Nami, thus posing a threat, the ship is subject to criticism and hatred. It's not uncommon for shippers themselves to experience harassment and hatred from other shippers, and the romantic arts about them, often, are stolen from Japanese artists and republished without consent and turned into a context where there is hatred towards the ship.

On the contrary, the ship between Zoro and Nami is very popular and well accepted in Eastern countries, including Japan, Korea and China. On Pixiv, a Japanese site, a lot of fanart and novels is produced about the ship. So much so that in the tag ゾロナミ (Zoro/Nami) there are more than 3500 works, even surpassing popular ships that include Zoro and Nami. And usually, various emojis are used in fandom to refer to the ship; the most common are 💚🧡 and ⚔️🍊.

Compared to most One Piece pairings, it can be viewed as the most vanilla, in that both Zoro and Nami are relatively tamed individuals with no serious bizarre traits that puts a unique spin on their relationship. Rather, their relationship is the closest of two ordinary people that grow to trust each other. This contrasts with both LuNami and SaNami, as Luffy is exceedingly idiotic and completely indifferent with romance and lust, and Sanji is unhealthily obsessed with both. In this regard, ZoNami can be considered a middle ground for shippers. The ship is usually associated with VegeBul by the Dragon Ball fandom, because of the similarity that both have, and for their roles being somewhat similar to that of Vegeta and Bulma. Another ship very similar to ZoNami is SasuSaku from Naruto, the ship het between Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.

Fans of the ship are somewhat tame. They appreciate the moments and details, be it Nami by Zoro’s bedside on Thriller Bark, or when she pats his head on Zou. When it comes to shipping wars in the One Piece fandom, fans often state ZoNa as a simple preference rather than believing it to be something that will happen by the end of the series. However, there are plenty of ZoNami fans who argue that Zoro and Nami's relationship, as time goes on, could be explored, making it a possible endgame pair if the crew disbands. In addition, the fact that Zoro is the only crew member who has never received a hug from Nami or seen her naked could be a sign that Zoro is unique to Nami. Most ZoNami fanarts also confirm that it is also one of the oldest ships in fandom, mainly due to their graphics.

The ship is not poor in headcanon and many are convinced that some of them are strongly implied and that they happened behind the scenes not in the spotlight. One of them is in the Drum Arc, where Nami falls ill collapsing to the ground with a high fever. When she is helped by Vivi, Zoro was on the station and although it is not showed, it is thought that he was the one who carried Nami in his arms to her room.

Another popular headcanon is that Zoro may have possible feelings for Nami, not only for how he protected her during their adventures with him, but also for how he personally cared for Hody Jones in the Fishman Island Arc when he reminded Nami of her past, risking his life fighting with Hody underwater, or when he reacts to Sanji's gallantry towards Nami by scolding him and suggesting that he may feel a kind of jealousy towards him, or for how Zoro is usually in presence with them when Sanji tries to impress Nami, by "keeping an eye on them". Feeding the headcanon was during the Dressrosa arc. Bartolomeo was presenting the new sizes of the crew, and Zoro comments with an irascible tone on the new photo of Nami. The fanfictions explore this aspect, where it is usually Zoro who declares himself to her hoping that she will reciprocate those feelings or not, although Zoro is a heart of ice, Nami manages to bring out his emotions.

A recent headcanon of the two appeared following the release of SBS 104 on Nami's routine, specifying that she also does physical exercise to maintain her beauty. Many think that Nami trains in the same room with Zoro during his workouts, or that he acts as her personal instructor, increasing their sexual tension.

A theory, according to ZoNami shippers, is that Nami hoped to meet Zoro in a bar when the crew reunited on Sabaody. This is because Nami is in a bar waiting for "someone", that assumption is that, because Zoro loves to drink, he would go to a bar. However, Zoro instead went to Shakky and Rayleigh's bar. This is further supported by the fact that both Zoro and Nami are avid drinkers.

ZoNami has plenty of rivals, this is dominantly a result of how popular both characters are in regards to shipping. Zoro has been shipped with Hiyori, Perona, Nico Robin and others. Conversely, Nami has been shipped with Luffy, Sanji, Usopp and others. Although not often shipped, a popular perspective for One Piece fans is how Zoro and Nami were the first crew mates of Luffy’s. They have come to be seen as an iconic trio which has led to a poly ship to form for some fans as well. ZoNami fans tend to also ship less commonly LawLu and Frobin, although they vary from time to time.

A common trope in fanfiction is hurt/comfort, exploring the traumas and abuses in Zoro and Nami's past and comforting each other.

ZoNami "Holidays"[]

ZoNami Holiday 2017

ZoNami Holiday calendar for 2017

ZoNami Day, Week and Month are holidays created by fans of the ship that can be celebrated during the holidays, without having any connection with the canonical material. During these holidays many can create calendars during the month ZoNami, with creative things to do, such as fanart, AMV and much more related to the ship. The day fans celebrate ZoNami is November 7th, a date that is celebrated mostly in Japan[10], and where the holidays mainly take place, although before they were also celebrated among the remaining Western fans, from 2020 until previous years.

  • The "ZoNami Day" takes place throughout the day of November 7th.
  • The "ZoNami Week" takes place throughout the week from June 1 to 7.
  • The "ZoNami month" takes place throughout the month.

The meeting between Zoro and Nami[]

Zoro and Nami - first meeting

Zoro and Nami first meeting in the manga. Chapter 10 - Released: September 29, 1997

Japaneses and Koreans fans celebrate the meeting between Zoro and Nami, which originally took place in the manga chapter 10 on September 29, 1997 (in the anime their meeting took place two years later, precisely on December 15, 1999, of the 5th episode). They create fanart and write fanfiction or stories for the ship, and on Twitter/X the most used Japanese hashtag is "#ゾロナミ出会いの日" that it means "ZoroNami the day we met".

Parallels[]

Zoro and Nami; Vegeta and Bulma

Parallelism between Zoro and Nami, and Vegeta and Bulma

The pairing is often paralleled with Vegeta and Bulma (VegeBul), from Dragon Ball, due to the similarities of the characters and moments. Nami is seen as a parallel of Bulma as they are both very intelligent, argumentative and tend to satisfy their needs with money. Zoro is similar to Vegeta as they are both distant and generally indifferent characters (although Vegeta is much colder), they also both share a deep love for fighting.

It is worth noting that Eiichiro Oda was heavily influenced by the work of Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, and cites at having a big impact on his development as a manga author. The two had the opportunity to make a crossover between their respective mangas. In this crossover Zoro and Nami were paralleled with Vegeta and Bulma, giving confirmation to fans of their similarities.

Fans frequently point out the numerous moments or similar characteristics of the two couples:

ZoNami and VegeBul moment

Parallelism between Zoro and Nami, and Vegeta and Bulma

  • Their mindsets are very much identical: a proud man doesn't hold back and an intelligent woman always manages to make her own way.
  • Zoro and Vegeta both share the habit of grumbing when they complain about being bossed around by Nami and Bulma (respectively), yet always end up doing as they are told.
  • Both Vegeta and Bulma, as well as Zoro and Nami, are closest to the main characters of their series, Goku and Luffy.
  • Nami and Bulma have been seen sitting at the bedside of Zoro and Vegeta after they have been injured (Vegeta, after the explosion in the Gravity Room, and Zoro after facing Kuma in Thriller Bark).
ZoNami and Frobin

Similar scenes between Zoro and Nami, and Franky and Robin

A ship that is parallel to ZoNami in One Piece is Frobin. Both ships have a rather noisy component that often gets carried away by feelings, and an always serious and calm component that is usually irritated by the personality of the noisy component. A similar moment they share is when Nami tramples Zoro to get out of the slippery oil on the floor. Similar moment when Robin tramples Franky in the Saga of Thriller Bark to get up.
