Final Fantasy ships. This page is for ships with a lack of content, or for ships with minimal interactions. Please add as much content as you can to the sections below. Once a ship meets the requirements, you are welcome to create a page.
The current requirements for ship pages are:
- 20 sentences split between the canon and fanon sections, with content in both sections.
- One minimum link under the fandom section (e.g. AO3 tags, Tumblr links)

Highspecs is the het ship between Ignis Scientia and Aranea Highwind.
Canon[]
Ignis and Aranea first meet during a battle at an Imperial base that Noctis and co. were attempting to infiltrate; however, Aranea leaves before the fight can be finished.
The next time the two meet, Aranea joins the party on a mission to obtain mythril. Here she discloses that she is suspicious of the Empire and is considering leaving the army. As the party finished the mission, Aranea offers her services to them should they need help with any daemons and Ignis accepts, telling her to take care of herself in the meantime.
Should she join the party for battle, Ignis will be chivalrous towards her to which she doesn't know how to respond.
After Ignis is blinded and the party loses Prompto, they will meet Aranea in Tenbrae helping escort refugees. Upon meeting him, Aranea notices Ignis's condition and shows concern for him, telling him to take care of himself as the party leaves.

Fanon[]
Many fans of the ship are drawn to it due to the duo's differing personalities. Although there aren't many canon interactions, fans of the ship generally write or draw the two training or on a mission together, playing off their canon in-battle dialogue. In most works, Aranea has already defected from the Empire and works with Ignis on the run.
In some fan works where the couple have children, Solara is the child more often than not. Others pair the two together as a sister ship to Noctis/Lunafreya and Promto/Cindy.
On AO3, Highspecs is the fourth most written ship for Ignis and the most written ship for Aranea. It is the thirteenth most written ship within the Final Fantasy XV tag.

- When Aranea is in the party, Ignis' battle AI changes so that he stands in front of her instead of Noctis during battle. He is also less likely to rescue Noctis, leaving the job to Prompto or Gladiolus. She is the only guest party member he does this for.
- When camping with Aranea, she will stand next to Ignis and converse with him.
- Noctis gets defensive when Aranea asks Ignis to cook for her and her men.
- Most Square Enix promotional art shows Ignis and Aranea together.

The bond between the Farron Sisters is one of the things that Final Fantasy XIII/Lightning Saga fans love about Lightning and Serah, as well as the saga itself. Many were sad when FFXIII-2 had Serah die, but were relieved that Lightning Returns has Lightning reunite with her sister before they and their friends travel to the new world together.

With Noctis being placed in the same public school as Prompto the two cross paths with one another, but didn't talk to each other. With Prompto being being very shy, while Noctis didn't try to socialise with other people. After Prompto got a letter from Lunafreya Nox Fleuret saying thanks for looking after her dog, Pryna and asking him to be friends with Noctis, Prompto gathers up the courage to approach the prince. Who shows Prompto kindness when Noctis tries to help him up after Prompto tripped and fell, but Prompto's weight made it had for him to do so and ends up saying "heavy" before taking off. Even though the prince didn't directly say the word "fat," Prompto felt that he wouldn't be able to become Noctis's friend until he losses weight. Every now and again Prompto would watch Noctis waiting for his ride home, before going home himself after losing the courage the approach him again. Noctis has noticed this but doesn't say anything about it on the day Prompto was nowhere to be found around that time.
Around the time the two have reached their teens and were in high school, Prompto had became much more confident in himself and had reached his weight loss goal. Giving him the courage and confidence to befriend the prince. Although Prompto acted like they were meeting for the first time, Noctis recognized Prompto through his white-green wrist band he wore when they were kids. Afterwards Noctis accepts Prompto's friendship and the two end up getting a job at a camera stork as part of Noctis's independence. As well as Prompto being the friend who isn't castle staff or was brought into his life through his father.

With WarRose being the main focused ship for the whole of FFXVI, it became one of the top ten ships of its Final Fantasy game; next to PhoenixFlare and a few other FFXVI ships. With Clive and Jill being the Dominants of Ifrit and Shiva, and how FFXV had its version of the fire and ice summon monsters as a former couple, some Final Fantasy fans felt that the previous game might have been a foreshadowing of Clive x Jill's relationship. Due to the energy of a few WarRose moments in the game, it has the ship be compared with Cloti [1] and Noctluna [2].
Half of the fanart on the ship is based on moments they shared, the beach campfire scene being one of the most popular choices, next to childhood moments and the flower field from what has came to be known as the "romantic side-quest." With the two being undressed before they truly began to express their passion for each other, has led to the theory that Clive and Jill might have conceived a child on those shores. While the family that was seen in the secret ending might have been that child's descendants. Due to how the game ended, and those who wanted the story to have a happier ending for the main characters, fans have created AUs where Clive lives and starts a family with Jill.
