In the story “The Flame Awakens”, Wind Archer Cookie is seen entering the mines after the battle between Fire Spirit Cookie and Agar Agar Cookie, where he is warning Fire Spirit Cookie about the Ultimate Cookie. In response, Fire Spirit Cookie was originally stating that he was tired due to the fighting against Agar Agar Cookie, later stating that he changed his mind and wished to join Wind Archer Cookie.
Wind Archer Cookie and Fire Spirit Cookie both have In-Kingdom interactions, where Fire Spirit Cookie asks Wind Archer Cookie if he had ever thought of doing anything else rather than spending most of his time guarding and protecting the forest.

FireWind is considered problematic by some due to elemental oppositions, with Wind Archer Cookie being related to nature and Fire Spirit Cookie to fire. They feel that their elemental opposites could create an unhealthy dynamic, with Wind Archer Cookie at risk of being hurt. However, people claim that because they are both elemental legendaries, neither could really be harmed by the presence of the other, so there is no imbalance in their relationship.
The tension in Wind Archer Cookie's chart towards Fire Spirit Cookie is explained by the idea that he actually wants to help Fire Spirit Cookie, because his impression is that Fire Spirit Cookie is a fallen spirit who needs to be healed. Many people have pointed out that there is a glowing heart displayed between the two of them, claiming that ‘they are in love’.
On AO3, it is the most written ship for both characters. Fans like to write about their contrast and possible rivalry ending in mutual acceptance, generally Wind Archer Cookie is more reserved while Fire Spirit Cookie is flirty. Most portray them more as humans than cookies.

Real-World Inspirations[]
In real life when the wind blows, the oxygen supply near the fire is constantly replenished. The extra oxygen provided by the wind helps a fire burn more intensely. The fire can draw in oxygen to support the chemical reaction, this can also create a wind that can be quite strong. A fire can be smothered by removing the oxygen that feeds the fire. Without oxygen, fires will not burn, which is possibly where the friendly and admiring way Fire Spirit Cookie views Wind Archer Cookie comes from.
