Fireoiny is the slash ship between Firey and Coiny from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for Dream Island[]
At the entrance to Dream Island, Coiny demands for Firey to let him in. Firey declines, telling him to think about all the things that he's done. Coiny replies saying that he's grown closer to him than anyone he ever knew, and says that if there's anyone who should be let on the island, it should be him. Firey agrees, then lets him in.
When Flower goes on a rampage, destroying the recovery centers, Firey tells her to stop, and Coiny agrees. Blocky says that was the first time they have ever agreed with each other without arguing, he thinks. Firey and Coiny then hug, which grosses Flower out.
BFDI Is Back[]
Firey is shown holding a container with goggles in them. He says that it felt good to be back. Firey looks at Coiny, who is sitting on a sofa-made catapult, stating that he looked nervous, which Coiny denies. Coiny wants to know if something is coming out of its hole, and Firey says that it's not that important. Coiny says that it's a slug, and Firey says that it's the slug, and says that it's going to come out soon, and that it's in the book. Coiny agrees that it's in the book, and asks where the book is. Firey walks over to Coiny, saying that if it's such a big deal, he's just going to climb the tree to get the book. Coiny declines, saying that he's slingshotting, Firey replies that if he's happy, then he's happy as well. Coiny replies that he shouldn't say that because it sounded like he didn't really mean it, and says that he means that he wasn't actually happy, and asks him if he got the goggles. Firey takes out the goggles behind him, and hands it over to Coiny, asking what are they aiming for. Coiny replies that their target is the top of the tree, and says that it's an easy shot, and asks that if they're ready. Firey says that they're ready.
Needle suddenly appears, asking what are they ready for, and Coiny says that they're going to die. Firey says that they aren't going to die. Needle walks over to them, asking if she can watch, and telling them to call her Needy. Firey replies that he likes the name Needy, and telling her that Coiny might die, and launches the slingshot. He misses the top of the tree but he still manages to get the book. Firey looks and it confirms that the slug is coming out on the "First of September", representing the release date of the next BFDI episode. Firey questions if it is a joke or not. Coiny says no, and wants a high five. Firey slaps Coiny instead and asks if he's alright. Coiny says he is. Firey counts up the months on how far the date is from now. Coiny says that there's so much barbed wire on the things he does, but he's happy to be back. Off-screen, Flower asks if Ice Cube thinks she looks beautiful, to which Ice Cube replies with "no", and she gets kicked. Ice Cube lands where Coiny is sitting and hits him, which sends him launching off-screen.
Battle for BFDI[]
They are put on the same team, The Losers.
They sit together with Snowball and Taco and cheer when Taco manages to throw her seeds in a pot. When forming teams, Firey asks Loser if he wants to join his team and says he has all of his pals along, Coiny being one of them.
When Firey throws a ball, only for it to land right in front of him, Coiny picks it up and throws it himself.
Fanon[]
Despite Firey and Coiny being arch-enemies in the first season, the ship is the second most popular ship for both Firey and Coiny. However, many also hate the ship because of them being arch-enemies in the first season, thinking that the relationship wouldn't be healthy. The pairing rivals Firey's most popular ship, Fireafy (the ship between Firey and Leafy), and Coiny's most popular ship, Coinpin (the ship between Coiny and Pin). It is often shipped paired with Leafpin. On AO3, it currently has over 20 works, and is the second most written ship for both Firey and Coiny.
