Firepin is the het ship between Firey and Pin from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for Dream Island[]
When Match invites Firey to join Pin's team, Pin initially yells at Match for not having her approval although doesn't say anything about Firey joining afterwards. While listing examples of Woody's fears, Pin holds up Firey and yelps in pain from holding him. Later at the start of the challenge, Pin tells Firey to be careful when he hits his hand with a hammer.
While monitoring her team during the test challenge, she is satisfied by Firey and Eraser working on their tests.
After Firey wins Dream Island, Pin is among the people he lets onto the island. Later upon approaching Leafy who was rejected from entering, Pin tries to comfort her by stating that he never got to recieve it. Pin is shocked when Leafy already knows the fact before she finishes saying it.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
Firey is part of the crowd chanting for Pin to switch teams.
When Pin asks Team No-Name if anyone would like to switch to their team, Firey and everyone else backs away.
Firey dodges a knife that Pin throws at Leafy.
Battle for BFDI[]
Pin finds Coiny and Firey and asks if they had seen her blueberry seeds, which the two nervously hide the fact that they threw them in a pot earlier. Coiny and Firey start sweating and after standing in silence, Pin says that she'll look elsewhere. Later when the contestants make their teams, Firey asks Loser if he wants to team up with him and his friends Coiny, Needle, and Pin. Loser accepts and they end up as teammates of The Losers! In the challenge when Pin tries to direct the team's focus on the contest rather than praising Loser, Firey grows angry at her and launches her upwards. She ends up hitting the basket they need to retrieve and Pin later looks at him unamused when Firey shrugs it off.
Pin and the rest of the team gasps when Coiny slaps Firey.

Fanon[]
Firepin is a fairly popular ship for both Firey and Pin. Despite their few direct interactions in the show, the two sharing a close bond with both Coiny and Leafy have united the two as well. It is one of the six ships within the poly between the four, Fireleafcoinpin, and the five ships within are often compared to the pairing (Fireafy, Leafpin, Fireoiny, Coinpin, and Coinleaf). Shippers of the poly have noted that Firey and Pin have the least canon basis compared to the others. Despite this, much fan art and fan fiction envision a better idea of their dynamic whether they tie in the theme of the poly or not. TikTok videos of the ship are also frequent among the following they have on platforms such as Tumblr and Twitter. Aside from the other ships within the poly, other ships that rival the two include Gelafirey and Pineedle.
On AO3, there are five works under their romantic tag and five under the platonic tag. It is the fourth most written ship for both Firey and Pin. Just barely missing the top ten, it is the 11th most written het ship of the fandom.
