Firerobber is the het ship between Cinder Fall and Roman Torchwick from the RWBY fandom.
Canon[]
The two were first seen together in the first episode of volume 1. She is seen assisting him (albeit veiled) in his escape during his botched robbery in Vale. It is then revealed later on that in actuality, Roman works for Cinder not the other way around. Although the two did work together, they didn't have a very good relationship on a personal level, with Cinder routinely threatening him. It was also heavily implied that Cinder coerced Roman by force into working for her.
As a result of this, Roman tended to act uneasy and nervous around her. When he complained about her forcing him to work with the White Fang, she then coldly responded that they required his "cooperation". She then punctuated this word with a clear threat of igniting a fireball in her hand. Roman as a result regarded Cinder to be very powerful and was more than a bit intimidated by her. He also ended up resented her a bit as a result too because he didn't like being bossed around.
Once when he complained about being kept in the dark about Cinder's true plans, Cinder informed him that he would "know what he needs to know, when he needs to know it." Nonetheless, he continued to follow Cinder's orders, albeit unwillingly. Roman also refused to out Cinder as the mastermind of the plan to Ironwood when he was captured and interrogated. Although this could have also been out of fear. He did, however, tell Ruby in "Heroes and Monsters" that he could not stop the people who hired him and that he could not afford to lose. Cinder also seems to know that Roman died as she told a distraught Neo in volume 6 that she was not responsible for Roman's death.

Fanon[]
Firerobber is a rarepair within the RWBY fandom, mainly because Cinder and Roman rarely interacted on screen together. Some fans liked to ship these two because they liked the whole sexy evil dynamic the two had. Some fans were surprised when the two were first seen interacting and Cinder put her hand on Roman's cheek. The Firerobber ship mostly sank after Roman's death at the end of volume 3. It has a small fanbase on Tumblr.
