Battle for BFB[]
After Purple Face is freed from being trapped in a box, he asks Flower that night why she's been going around rudely kicking people. Flower tries to defend herself by saying that everyone was disrespecting her fashion line, but realizes that she's been harsh on them. As she explains that she felt hurt to see them bashing her lifelong dream of distributing a fashion line, Purple Face compliments Flower's sweaters. Excited, Flower gives Purple Face a sweater to try on and celebrates when he ends up liking it.
Purple Face calls over Flower's team, the Have Nots, to a bush so he can take over Cake at Stake. Flower, unsure at first, decides to follow the rest of the team inside. When Purple Face tries to sing a song about Cake at Stake being fun, Flower and Firey interrupt to disagree with him, angering Purple Face. Later when Purple Face reveals the bottom two between Flower and Blocky, Flower begins to worry that she's the next one eliminated. Confusing her for Blocky, Purple Face confirms this as Flower laments over not being able to redeem herself. However, when they both realize the mistake, Flower is announced the last one safe and the two celebrate. Purple Face spits out Leafy as Flower's prize for being safe, making Flower sarcastically thanking him for ruining the moment. Purple Face shortly realizes that she was being sarcastic and is angered again by this. After Cake at Stake, Purple Face asks for Flower to lift up her arm behind him so he can start the intro. As Flower raises her arm, Purple Face cheers.
As Flower and the rest of the final 6 contestants enter the temple to find a totem, Purple Face teleports inside and scares them. He offers to be their tour guide for the challenge and Flower and the rest of them follow him into their first room. However, when Purple Face becomes sad after realizing half of them left the tour, Flower gets distracted from his crying by a totem and leaves as well to grab it.
During the last challenge of the season involving throwbacks to previous challenges, one portion involves having to free Purple Face from a jail cell. Flower doesn't remember how Four was freed from jail last time and asks Purple Face how it's suppose to be done. He laughs and keeps it a secret, making Flower yell that he is being unfair. However, she is able to progress when Gelatin catches up and frees Purple Face from the cell.
Purple Face invites the season's finalists, Gelatin and Flower, to his interview show. He asks Flower if he's proud of him, instead of asking if she's proud of herself like he asked Gelatin right beforehand. When Flower is confused by the question, Purple Face is angered by her answer and calls her a jerk, irritating Flower. Flower becomes visibly bored when Purple Face gets Gelatin to recall his life story. After asking Gelatin what his favorite thing about BFDI was, Purple Face asks Flower what her favorite thing about his moustache is. Failing to get Purple Face to give her the same questions as Gelatin, she angrily points out that he doesn't have a moustache. Purple Face is stunned by this and decides to introduce the next segment of his show: Purple Face's Torture Time with Flower. He puts her in a glass tank with a bug next to her foot. Although Flower doesn't notice the bug at first, she reveals to him that she's been working on her fear of bugs and shares how she's been making good efforts into conquering her fear. Purple Face then asks how she would feel if there were five hundred bugs around her instead of one, scaring Flower. After Purple Face drops the bugs in the tank, Flower begs for him to let her out of the tank. In another segment when Purple Face is amazed by Gelatin pronouncing his name in different ways, Flower argues that anyone can do it and pushes Gelatin aside to prove this. However, she ends up being booed by the audience when doing so. When Flower begins panicking from bugs reappearing on the stage, Purple Face refuses to help her when Leafy asks. Later on as the decreasing budget causes them to revert to a storyboard, Purple Face urges Flower to use the $50,000 for her business to save the show. After further pleading, Flower reluctantly does so as Purple Face and the contestants cheer when this works.
In the finale when the Announcer is hesitant on giving up the BFDI prize to season winner Flower, Purple Face takes it from both and declares that he's keeping it to himself. Flower runs after Purple Face and demands that he gives it back to her since she earned it. The Announcer chases the two to take the BFDI as well, although Firey, Leafy, Woody, Taco, and Blocky join them in hopes of giving Flower the BFDI back from Purple Face. After getting Purple Face to admit that he took it out of payback for not being respected, Flower tries to calm him down by getting him to remember when she gave him a sweater. This briefly works, but Flower takes the BFDI from his grasp and the two struggle to let it go. Purple Face insists that he deserves it for working hard as it flies out of the two's hands. Everyone in the bus then gets into a fight over who deserves the BFDI prize. When the bus ends up dangling off a cliff, everyone except for Flower, Purple Face, and the Announcer leave the bus. As the three continue to fight over the BFDI, Flower and Purple Face insist each other that they both deserve it after the hard work they've put into the season. When the Announcer pleads them to give it to him, Flower reminds him that she won it and Purple Face is upset that he hasn't been paid at all. However, when the Announcer reveals that the BFDI is the only remaining copy of the show, both Flower and Purple Face are shocked. As Purple Face explains how he was hardly able to show himself off in the season, Flower reminds him of when he hosted Cake at Stake and when he explored the oven with them. As she explains how unwelcomed it feels when people wonder why someone's around, she explains how no one felt that way with Purple Face and that it was a relief to have a host that wouldn't abuse their powers in a way the others would. After complimenting him for being a part of BFB, Purple Face feels honored and thanks Flower. Admitting that he might've been selfish for wanting the BFDI to himself, he tells Flower that she earned the prize and is happy that she helped him realize his value in the season. He tells Flower that she herself changed for the better as well before leaving the bus. Still talking to the Announcer, she decides that he can keep the BFDI and feels that Purple Face was right about her winning the season is a win within itself.
Fanon[]
Flowerface is a rarepair in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. The ship was mostly prevalent during the rest of post-split BFB after Purple Face's return, with his generosity towards Flower and her fashion business kickstarting the idea of the two as a duo. The season expanded on this idea in later episodes, mainly in the finale, of the two being grateful for each other's doings. Although, the idea of them being shipped together is particularly rare compared to highlighting their moments as friends. The pairing still garners some supporters as a result of the season, although it is typically overshadowed by their more popular ships such as Flowerpop, Floweruby, and Yurple Face.
