Flynn-Fletcher Brothers is the Family ship between Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher from the Phineas and Ferb fandom.

Canon

Overview

Phineas and Ferb are stepbrothers, who first met when they were toddlers, when Phineas' mom, Linda Flynn, and Ferb's dad, Lawrence Fletcher got married. This was shown in a flashback from "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted!", when Lawrence first brought Ferb home, introducing him to Phineas and Candace. Since then, the two have been the best of friends, making the most of every day together. Phineas and Ferb both have a shared interest in building elaborate things like rolleroasters, rocket ships, and giant robots and pretty much every day, they make something together. The two are always on the same page as each other and have never been seen arguing once in the entire series, given just how like-minded they are. They've demonstrated the ability to essentialy "read each other's minds", knowing exactly what the other one is thinking or what they're about to say, as seen in "The Secret of Success", when Ferb predicted Phineas saying his catchphrases, "Ferb, I know what we're gunna do today!" and "Hey, where's Perry?".

Series

Throughout the course of the series, Phineas and Ferb have remained pretty stagnant in their relationship, never bickering or sparring or even disagreeing about anything. They've been the perfect couple of step-brothers and with each other in their presence, every day goes pretty much exactly as planned. Ferb will often make Phineas laugh with his various quotes and quips, as seen in episodes like "Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror", "Cheer Up Candace", "Buford Confidential", "Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars", and "Last Day of Summer". Even when Ferb isn't talking, Phineas still finds himself swayed by Ferb's usage of silence. As he stated in "It's No Picnic", "It's not what he doesn't say. It's how he doesn't say it." Phineas is oftentimes surprised, when he finds out new secrets about Ferb that he never knew before, such as his ability to speak fluent Japanese and his relationship with Vanessa, both in "Summer Belongs to You". As seen in flashforward episodes like "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo" and "Act Your Age", it is shown that Phineas and Ferb remain the best of friends even well into their collective adulthood.

Phinerb has a decent following in the Phineas and Ferb fandom. Like with most "two male main characters" in media, Phineas and Ferb have fallen victim to the inevitable slash shipping and for good reason. Phineas and Ferb are two peas in a pod and function as two best friends. Many fans have considered just how perfect they would function as a couple. Although some people find it kind of odd, considering they are part of the same family, it should be kept in mind that Phineas and Ferb are step-brothers and are not biologically related. That means that if they ever wanted to start dating in the future, there should be no problem with that. Also, considering how they never argue about anything ever, the chances of them breaking up would be slim to none. There is a vast array of shipping fanart of them on DeviantArt and Tumblr. Their ship is rivaled by canon ships like Phinabella and Ferbnessa, as well as non-canon ships with Ferbella.
