Follter is the het ship between Folly and Wallter from the Regretevator fandom.
Canon[]
Wallter and Folly are seen on good terms with each other. In various dialogue shared between them, it's revealed that Folly enjoys visiting Wallter's dreams to, as stated by Wallter, force him to read her poetry. However, Wallter enjoys her poetry wholeheartedly but prefers she send him her works via mail. Wallter reciprocates Folly's actions and shares his classical melodies with her. Folly is confirmed to genuinely enjoy this, evident when she threatened Wallter's life in one of her dialogues but holds back once realizing nobody would share these melodies with her.
Folly tends to get along with Wallter better than most NPCs. However, it's unclear whether she truly views him as a friend rather than an acquaintance; Whenever Wallter refers to her as "friend" she dismisses this, even sarcastically mocking the title. Despite being on good terms with him, Folly continues to threaten him or claim to enjoy watching his suffering. Wallter is oddly forgiving of this and barely reacts to this attitude. There has been an instance where Folly has spoken something nice to him; She declares that warning Wallter of what is happening to his brain will fill her with compassion. But yet again, she prefers witnessing him succumb to the damage.
Folly was implied to be an employee of Wallter in a dialogue with another NPC, Pest. When she threatened to tear everyone to shreds with the intent of striking fear into him, Pest rebuttals that her "rock employer" would be upset. This ultimately convinces her to back away. Since Wallter is made of concrete, this could be a direct reference to him. Additionally, Wallter owns his own construction business. This theory is immediately dismissed as false, for MR, a hostile NPC, is a rock and its dialogue with Folly heavily suggests its power over her.

Fanon[]
Follter is a popular ship within the fandom but more commonly from a platonic perspective. Many fans enjoy the headcanon of them being best friends judging from their unusual friendship in-game. However, there are plenty of others who ship them romantically as well. Both parties, whether they ship Follter romantically or not, find their Opposites Attract trope attractive. With Wallter being the kind, gentle man compared with Folly, a braised and intimidating woman, this sparks the Night and Day Duo, or more commonly known as the Sun and Moon, trope. The ship is heavily rivaled with WallMark, the slash ship between Wallter and Mannequin_Mark.
