Foureafy is the non-binary ship between Four and Leafy from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for BFDI[]
Leafy, along with the rest of the contestants, gets excited when Four pulls out the BFDI as the season's prize. Later after the teams for the season are formed, Leafy tells Four that she doesn't mean to be pushy but would like to start competing.
When Roboty is missing during the jawbreaker challenge, X informs Leafy that Four wouldn't like to know about this.
At team BEEP's first Cake at Stake, Leafy and David end up being in the bottom two, where Four reveals that David survives. Leafy is eliminated and as she tries to say final words to her team, Four pulls Leafy up from the ground and is sucked up into the top-right corner of Four.
Leafy becomes a student of Four's Eternal Algebra Class, along with Pencil, Liy, and Bracelety. While Four is gone, she encourages Pencil to do her work so that Four won't get mad at her. Leafy is excited to see Four when he returns and greets him. When Four is confused on why Pencil is complaining about all of the new students being boys, Leafy explains to her that Pencil likes excluding people that aren't part of her clique. She mentions how Pencil considers her gender as her clique in this instance, where Four points out that he doesn't have genders where he's from. Four then tells the eliminated contestants that they have a chance to rejoin the Battle for BFDI, where Leafy and the others get a chance to explain to the voters why they should return.
During rejoin, Four eventually reveals that Leafy rejoins, leading her to cry tears of joy. As she reaches over to get the cake she gets for rejoining, Four grabs Leafy takes her back to the main grasslands. Upon returning, she confronts her old team who doesn't want to associate with her anymore. She tells Four this who instead puts her on The Losers! due to Pin having a Gratitude Token.
While explaining the rules for the impostor challenge, Four yells for Eggy and Leafy to pay attention.
Leafy asks Four to recover Eggy after their team makes it to him for the contest.
When the cast gets split up between staying with Four in BFB or switching to Two's show, Leafy sticks with Four and is one of the few contestants to never consider switching. Four announces that they've reached the final fourteen of BFB, which Leafy is one of the contestants of.
Battle for BFB[]
Leafy politely declines as Four asks each of the contestants if they want to help him get X back. However, she and the rest of the contestants become motivated when Four brings back the original BFDI prize. Four splits the cast into two teams of seven based on their color, where Leafy is placed on the Four colored team.
As Leafy makes a speech for getting the most votes to be saved at Cake at Stake, Four interrupts her and gives her duck tape as a "prize" for being safe.
When X starts burning from the sun being too hot, Four agrees with Leafy when she says that they should help him. He gives her and the contestants buckets of ice.
As Leafy tries to install more air from a tablet to prevent them from suffocating in space, Four hijacks the tablet. Leafy is annoyed by this as Four explains that her team will be doing Cake at Stake virtually from their cardboard spaceship. She ends up announced the third one safe by Four and is given air to breathe as a prize. Later in the challenge when Leafy unfreezes the sun, Four subtracts 7,000 points from the team for making the Earth too hot. When Leafy simply pours an ice bucket on X to stop him from burning, this works and Four announces that her team wins the challenge because of it.
Four tells the gift receivers for the challenge that they can sit on a bench while they wait for the others to give them gifts, although Leafy declines sitting down at that moment.
Leafy volunteers to help Four get Donut's Diary back when it goes missing. However, Four is confused because the diary went missing in the hands of the other team, leading him to ask her why she's over here. She responds that she just wants to have fun with both sides of the competition. In the court case challenge, Leafy wants to be the question asker when Four says that her team will need one, although Gelatin ends up taking on the role. While translating Woody's recount of events, Four narrates that Woody saw Leafy with his team and thought that she was going to steal him. He explains that Woody thought Leafy was taunting him using Flower which led him to run away. Afterwards, Four lets Leafy call Firey to the stand. Leafy thanks him and calls him "Your Four-nor", which she explains her wordplay when Four doesn't get the joke. After Firey explains his side of the story, Leafy requests Four that she talks to Firey in private. Four allows her to do so if she calls him Your Fourner again, admitting that he liked it. Leafy says that she can and does so when she realizes Four meant she does it now, leading Four to happily allow her to talk to Firey outside of the courthouse. At the end of the challenge, Four announces that Leafy has been found guilty for stealing Donut's Diary. He then adds on that she was not the actual thief, leading her team to lose the challenge.
Leafy asks X where Four is and is shocked to see him jailed in a cage.
When it's Leafy's turn to present her party for the party challenge, she tells Four, calling him Your Fourner, that she didn't make one as she was helping Flower with hers. He promptly gives her a score of 0/10.
At Cake at Stake, Four announces that Leafy is the first one safe but is told by Lollipop that Leafy is dead. He recovers her shortly afterwards. When Leafy and Woody return from the Archaic Temple, Four refers to them as friendoes and examines the totems they got from it. However, he puts them up for elimination when he realizes they got the totems from Purple Face.
Leafy is the second one safe in the next Cake at Stake and Four throws a carrot cake at her to see if she actually did get cursed from the totems. The cake flies up away from Leafy, making Leafy question if the temple actually cursed her. Four tells her to get over it and realize that being cursed may have advantages. After Profily debuts, Four makes one of the challenges to make the most like a leaf to throw them off, thinking that Leafy would win. Later when he starts ranting that he feels like he gets no respect from the contestants, Leafy is shown feeling bad for him. Four makes the challenge to eliminate Profily and when Leafy asks if they refuse to do so, he responds that he'll just put everyone up for elimination. Leafy ends up winning the challenge and Four grants her immunity.
When Leafy compliments X for looking after the contestants and calls him a good host, Four is saddened that he himself isn't getting recognition. Four later puts Leafy up for elimination for failing to escape the oven for the challenge.
Leafy yells at Four for tossing the Announcer away, telling him to cut it out. As Four later sinks into the ground to make himself a constant presence, Leafy is terrified seeing the ground turn blue.
As X loses hope on the show with Four being gone, Leafy says that he misses him and points out how he never ran into budget issues and was the closest to finishing another season in years.
In a flashback of Four watching the first BFDI season as a fan, Four says one of Leafy's lines in an episode and calls it his favorite scene of the episode. Leafy later helps set up a party for Four and tells him that it was a group effort, but it was mainly Profily's idea.
Fanon[]
Foureafy is farily known in the fandom, usually as one of the more popular ships pairing Four with a contestant. One of the stronger foundations of the ship compared to other Four pairings is Leafy generally being encouraging to Four throughout their interactions as well as the two being outcasts by their surroundings at some point in the show. Especially within post-split, moments between the two have been shared and used by shippers to justify the pairing, such as Four liking Leafy's nickname of Your Fourner, or him taking it personally when Leafy openly compliments X as a host. Fan art and video edits of the pairing have resulted as a result on numerous platforms used by BFDI shippers, with common themes such as one comforting the other or more romantic topics. Ships that mainly rival the two include 4x and Fireafy, as well as other Four and contestant pairings such as Gelafour and Fournut.
