Fourtle is the non-binary ship between Four and Bottle from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for BFDI[]
During the fourth challenge, Bottle helps her team protect Four from various forks flying in his direction. As the team grows nervous about being hurt by Four if any of the oncoming Forks hit him, Bottle expresses concern of being fried by Four. The team proposes the idea to get Black Hole to suck up the forks from them, although Black Hole is too far away to hear them call his name. As Pillow insists that she can single-handedly continue protecting Four, Bottle runs off with Pen, Remote, and Tree to get Black Hole. Afterwards when Pen's drawing of Four gets hit by a fork, Bottle uses Bell's string to catch it in the air. However, Four is very judgmental against the drawing and their team ends up losing the challenge.
In Death P.A.C.T.'s elimination, Four calls out for the contestants with holes, referring to Black Hole and Bottle, and gives them a fortune cookie to fill them with. The two are both safe from elimination, avoiding the bottom two.
For the tenth challenge, the contestants attempt to revive Four after he was seemingly killed off before. Bottle yells out a similar word, "fore", as she smacks Golf Ball with a golf club during this. Later on after Four is brought back, he and Bottle are having a friendly conversation about catching up with the competition. Tree, halfway stuck inside Bottle, waits for them to finish talking so he can ask Four to recover Pie for the stairs challenge.
After Bottle is shattered during the impostor challenge, Four recovers Bottle per Tree's request. Later on, she and the rest of Death P.A.C.T. go inside of Four's mouth to retrieve Pillow who was swallowed by him earlier. After finding Pillow inside the Fourest, Bottle, Pen, and Remote repeatedly stick their hands out of Four's mouth, annoying Four. As Tree wishes to get out of Four already, Black Hole figures that they can just take their time and is satisfied seeing his teammates having fun. After this, Four grows tired of the team doing this and throws them out of his mouth, although their team is immediately safe afterwards for being present for the challenge.
When all of the contestants are called to watch Four struggle with eliminating Spongy, Bottle follows and makes a note to Pie about Spongy being the largest contestant to be eliminated by him. Later after Bottle is killed by Two while trying to convince the contestants to switch to their show, Four recovers Bottle and asks if she'll stay with him. Unaware of the context, Bottle states that she would ditch him given the choice, upsetting Four.
The Power of Two[]
As Four and X are busy cleaning up the kitchen around the time Cake at Stake is, Bottle takes the votes folder that Four gave them and offers to host the ceremony. Later as Bottle is setting up the challenge, she approaches Four in the kitchen and tells him that she's hosting to take the matters off of Four's hands. As Four lets out a small smirk from this, Bottle asks him for a bull-riding machine. Four reaches inside the EXIT and grabs the Fourse in the pocket dimension's castle for Bottle to use.
Fanon[]
Fourtle is a rarepair in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. The ship was first brought up around the time of Battle for BFDI, specifically where the two are shown to be rather friendly towards one another. While the ship did not get much further attention afterwards as their dynamic was left unclear, the ship as a rarepair saw a small resurgence when The Power of Two again hinted a friendship between then years later. Fans of the idea saw their relationship as cute, inspiring a number of fan art and video edits surrounding the two.
