Fradrian is the femslash ship between Adrian Andrews and Franziska von Karma from the Ace Attorney fandom.

Canon

Franziska was assigned to Adrian Andrews' trial as a prosecutor in Farewell, My Turnabout, but couldn't make it. During the investigation of Corrida's murder, Adrian quickly develops another unhealthy emotional attachment to Franziska (after Celeste Inpax). However, Adrian was instructed by her on not to admit what she had done (intervening on tampering with the crime scene). This was revealed just right after Franziska appeared right with Phoenix and Pearl and kearned about the tracking device Franziska had imposed to Gumshoe, she told Adrian to think hard about what they had discussed previously (implying that they had already known each other a little more before Phoenix and Pearl), adding a whiplash when she asks if Adrian had understood, to then get an affirmative answer from Adrian. Phoenix then wonders to himself what the two of them had talked about.

Because of the dependence Adrian had developed with Franziska, during the trial Edgeworth resorted on torturing her by revealing her emotional problems in the courtroom for getting her to speal. After Adrian was declared innocent, at the airport where Miles and Franziska were, Franziska mentions about not changing herself, and who she was, but Miles denies it, stating that she would be able to do it, as Adrian had done it equally. Franziska is a bit confused about why Adrian Andrews' name was mentioned in such situation both were in, but Miles says that Franziska had used Adrian during court (in an interrogative way), but was nonetheless "dependent" and resorted to her father's (Manfred von Karma) tactics, and then Miles asks her whether if he was right or not. She only hmphs at the question.

At the end credits of Justice for all, at Adrian's ending, she thanks Phoenix for what he and Edgeworth did for her, and also mentions about Franziska giving her a letter which said that after Adrian was out from prison, she should feel free on consulting Franziska about anything at all. She then happily says she was really thankful to have meet everyone. Later, at Trials and Tribulations' end credits, in Adrian Andrews' ending, she thanks Phoenix because of him, the treasures of the Kurain exhibit had been a resounding success, as she was on his debt. Adrian then tells Phoenix that she got a chance for meeting Franziska in her home country, who hadn't seen for a year, and she taught her on how using a whip, and also said that she must show him what she learned from it. Adrian's ending finishes with her wondering about it.

It's a very known ship in the Ace Attorney fandom. It's mainly shipped because of their interactions in-game, but especially when Adrian had been taught by Franziska herself on how using a whip. There are ones who assume on the kinds of lessons Adrian had to learn from her, sometimes misinterpreting a "certain" way that one can learn to use a whip (mainly using it against someone, that being Adrian for example).

It's also popular because of the Defrosting Ice Queen trope that is included in the ship, since Franziska is commonly headcanoned as a lesbian in the fandom (and has a big support) because she is cold, but softens to women (Adrian included) and seemingly doesn't have interest on men at all (at least because of the way she treats them and women too, but men in more common, which it isn't very friendly), it's a liked ship. It doesn't only apply to Adrian, Kay too, as is Franziska's only friend after Adrian according to Franziska's friends in the Ace Attorney Wiki (both being women), also Maya too, though she isn't friends with Franziska at all, the latter still was still caring for her, like when Maya was kidnapped and locked up and Franziska spent hours on trying to save her for her own motives.

The ship itself is a rarepair, but also popular in a way, still having rivals like Franmaya or even Fredgeworth (for the romantic shippers fans, but it's more popular in the family side). Though, there are shippers who ship Franziska with both Adrian and Maya altogether (even if it's a very rarepair as the three don't interact equally.) On AO3, it has over 100+ fics, with it being the most written for Adrian.
