Francine x Linda is the femslash ship between Francine Smith and Linda Memari from the American Dad fandom.

Francine and Linda first meet when Linda and her husband Bob moved into the neighborhood in "Homeland Insecurity". Francine tries to be good friends with the new couple despite her husband Stan's paranoia about them being terrorists due to their Iranian heritage. Afterwards, the two ladies became best friends and spend time together.
In "Not Particularly Desperate Housewives", Linda didn't like how Francine is obsessing over joining the Ladybugs, a group of women with "a fast lane lifestyle and slow motion walk." Francine eventually did due to them thinking she's cheating on her husband, which is what the Ladybugs is all about. At first, Francine plays along, inadvertently shunning a hurt Linda for ditching their puzzle night and the Ladybugs mocking her. Francine eventually wants out of the Ladybugs, but they threaten to kill her if she doesn't have an affair out of fear she'll expose them. Just as they're prepared to kill Francine, Linda shows up to give her a goodbye kiss (with her tongue). Believing they have blackmail material, the Ladybugs spare Francine with a warning. Francine thanks Linda for faking that kiss, though Linda awkwardly thanks her, then says she needs to go home to her husband because "she loves him" and "sexually attracted to him", and then walks away. This moment reveals that Linda is a lesbian or at least bisexual, and has a crush on Francine.
In "Rough Trade", the Memaris were in a bar when they overheard what they assume was Stan yelling at Francine over the phone (it's actually Roger). Linda worries about Francine, then talks about how sexy she is. Bob respond in a resign tone that he would like to watch his wife has sex with someone next time. Not only is Bob is aware of his wife's crush on Francine, but it also implies that he might be aware of Linda's sexuality and would suggest that the Memaris have little or no sexual relations. Later, Linda went to the Smith's house to check up on Francine, after she rings the doorbell she tries different ways to flirt with her until she just unbuttons her shirt a little to make her breasts appear larger. When a drunk Stan opens the door instead and stares at her breasts, she quickly buttons up her shirt again. When she saw Francine with a black eye, she immediately assumed the worst, and awkwardly runs off to call the police. When Stan asked what's up with Linda, Francine doesn't know and said she's "a weird chick".
Linda stop making appearances afterwards, except in the background and crowd scenes. Francine remains unaware of Linda's crush. In "The Two Hundred", she appears as one of the savage survivors attempting to eat the Smiths (Francine included). In "Cheek to Cheek: A Stripper's Story", Roger said that she died.

Fans are disappointed that this ship never got further explored in the series, due to the Memaris remaining in the background (and Linda supposedly dead). Also a missed chance for Francine to have a female friend at least.
